Lord & Taylor

I wish that the selection of clothes were a bit larger (greedy me!), but I was happy to find some good bargains on designer jackets. I could find the brands elsewhere but perhaps not at those prices. I was impressed with the quality of the employees' customer service.

A visit to Lord & Taylor is more than just a shopping excursion, it's an experience. Even more so if you stop by during the Christmas season. The store is decorated inside and out down to exquisite details. The store carries a wide selection of clothing and housewears for the descriminating shopper. You'll be surprised though that there are indeed some bargains to be found here as well, if you look hard enough.

Of all the stores in New York, as fantastic as they are, none can compare with the annual Christmas displays as seen in their windows..I've read that they plan it a year ahead of time

Each window is filled with moving figures that are almost Disneyesque in appearance..Crowds line up from early morning until late at night to view each display that are totally awesome

Inside the store, you will find the best of everything on display and unlike many other New York department stores they do have some great items on sale at any given time. I love the home and gift department especially during the holidays but after the holidays here again you will find some great bargains.

This is a top-notch store and one I would never miss visiting
