Sandy is simply the best. Like other posters here I've been to many salons in the DC area to include Molecule, Zen, Aveda but never have I had color and cut that make me look this good. People actually stop me to ask where I get my hair done.In addition - everyone there is fantastic. The shampoo and scalp massage from Naomi ( while seated in a massaging chair) is just heavenly.

My friend referred me to Sandy at Aquaticca. She is amazing with color and cutting techniques. She really takes the time to discuss what you want and the results are really great. I am very picky about my hair and have no complaints! This was the best haircut I have received in DC and I have lived here for 6 years. I've gone to many salons over the years including: Bang Salon, O Salon, Urban Style Lab, Blondie and Aveda Georgetown. I have liked some of my cuts, but haven't been blown away. Aquaticca is very relaxed, very friendly and professional. I've gotten more compliments on my hair by Sandy than any other stylist in the area...she is truly talented. As a bonus, the shampoo chairs recline and massage...it is so relaxing. Overall, I highly recommend this salon. They carry high quality products like Redken, Soma, Bumble and Bumble and Dermatologica. Go check it out! It's worth it!

Dawn gives great facials. Do yourself a favor and get a deep conditioning treatment while you're there- amazing! I also recently got a haircut there- love the results!

Victor does the best cuts, color and style. He takes his time, listens to what you want, and keeps in mind what would look best on you.

Everyone at Aquaticca is friendly and professional. The owner knows all of the clients and will make you feel totally at ease.

Overall, I highly recommend this salon/spa.

I have been having my hair done by Sandy for about three years now. I am fairly new to the area and when I first moved here I had the hardest time finding a decent stylist. Sandy gets it done right every time!! She is great at color! My hair is difficult to color and usually comes out looking orange, except when Sandy colors it. The rest of the staff is great too and have always been extremely nice!

I had a negative experience here due to one of their stylists, however, the manager has graciously offered to rectify the situation. It is understood that one bad experience can turn someone off to a specific salon- however the way that their manager eventually handled the situation was very kind.
