The Guise Chic space is conveniently divided into male and female. Guys get stainless steel and lines like Edun, Maharishi, Earnest Sewn, and Helmut Lang. Flat-screens play sports in the salon so boys can feel manly while getting their hair done. On the girls' side, it's all black chandeliers, glossy white walls, wide-leg pants from Theory, silk shorts and jumpers by IRO, and Gryson bags. Get cut, colored, and blown out while watching the tube at the full-service women's salon.

In ShortFormerly a men's barbershop and boutique, this Lincoln Park emporium moved to a new, more spacious locale that pampers both genders via a salon and boutique housed in the same storefront. Stainless steel details create a masculine vibe on the men's side; exposed brick walls and chandelier lighting set a softer backdrop for the colorful tiered dresses, geometric tank tops and savvy Gryson handbags on the gal's side. In back, salon stations kitted out with flat-screens help pass the time. Separate counters for men and women cut down on the wait once services (and shopping) are done.

I'll keep it plain and simple - I've been going to chop shops (Hair Cuttery, Supercuts, etc.) all of my life, and since I work in the city, decided to head to an upscale barber shop/salon. Guise proved to be well worth it. If you go during the weekdays before 2pm, you'll get a 25% discount on your haircut. Ask for Matthew Martin - he gave me an amazing look on a simple do.

For a recent anniversary, I presented the special man in my life with a day at this wonderful salon. At first he seemed a little uncomfortable because he had never been to this type of place. Now I can't get him to stop talking about it! It's a men's spa and boutique where they can get their hair trimmed, nails done, shoes shined, and they even give them complimentary imported beer while they are watching a game on the big screen. Now that's pampering.

Oh my goodness I went to Guise Chic in Lincoln Park and had the best experience ever! The clothes are sooooo adorable, and different from other chicago boutique's. I got highlights and a haircut from Megan-Anne. She did such an awesome job and people are complimenting me like crazy.
I feel sooo beautiful! I highly recommend this Salon and Store.

Awesome Salon

My dad has gone to Guise for a couple years, and when they moved down the street and started doing womens cuts he urged me to make an appointment. I LOVE it. My hair cut was cute, and i got my hair colored the exact color I wanted, something that other hair dressers couldnt quite grasp. The clothes in the boutique section are adorable as well. I highly recommend Guise|Chic to anybody.
