The service is fast without feeling rushed, the tea is nice, and the mango chicken is amazing. They have things you'd expect in any Asian restaurant but keep in mind that this is Chinatown so chicken fingers actually are chicken fingers (as in feet). Be adventurous!

We were so anxious to try things that we ordered way too much food to share. The staff were very friendly and they gladly moved our table when we said we were cold. Then they moved us again because we ordered so many dishes they would not fit on the table we were at!

Penang is an authentic Maylaysian restaurant located convieniently in Boston's Chinatown. The inside of this restaurant is tastefully decorated- you might feel as if you are dining in a bamboo hut with the rustic layout that adds to the charm.
Dishes at Penang are moderately priced for Chinese food, but are excellent. I have never tried anything I didn't like- from the Maylay style tofu to the sizzling beef. The mango chicken is a favorite of almost everyone and it comes served in a scooped out mango! There are also unique dishes like chicken feet and fish head soup for those that crave a little more exotic adventure in thier dining experience.

I have been there for my fourth times, most of my experiences are good. They really have good food, and lot of selections. A little bit expensive however it is really tasty. If you have chance to be there don't forget to try "Roti Canai"
PROS: Good food, romantic place
CONS: hard to find parking
