Shake The Tree Gallery

Great find!I recently discovered this little store in Boston's North end and I have solved my gift-giving dilemma forever. As a guy, I often feel like I have no idea what exactly to get the women in my life (girlfriend, friend, sister, mother..) This place has been my absolute best find. The staff will spend forever with me helping me pick out the perfect piece of jewelry or other gift! My girlfriend was so happy with this handmade silver necklace I bought! Prices run the gamut from inexpensive to pricey but there is something for everyone in between!

The Shake the Tree Gallery located on Salem Street in the North End is a little out of the way for a gift/clothing shop, but is well worth the trip. Inside you will find unique clothing and cute gift options for most female's on your gift list. The prices here are reasonable to- since they are out of the way the sales tend to be often.

LOVED this cute store on Salem Street. Bought this totally awesome chunky resin/wood ring and sweet little boxers with hearts and skulls by Scanty. They have verycool clothes, jewelry and other accessories. Plus, interesting and unique things for your house plus beautiful notecards by Mirage from Canada and scented soy candles by Lumiere and Kobo. Very hip feeling inside and the girls working there were very nice & helpful. Good price range too!!!

As you walk down the streets of the North End and look into the intruiging windows of the italian shops, you stumble upon a brightly colored gallery. You look up at the sign and see the name "Shake the Tree Gallery" beaming down on you. Through the clear glass windows, you can see a variety of mannequins clothed in the hottest styles. You are not aware but you have just found one of the most perfect hidden jewels around.
From the amazing set up of the clothes and jewlery to the sweet smile of the owner Marian Klausner, the whole experience is one you will never forget. You will not be able to leave without buying at least one gift for yourself or a friend. You must check out this hot spot soon and see what all the fuss is about.

Found a sweet little boutique in the North End - They carry jewelry that I fell in love with - big price range - from fun resin chunky rings ($12) to gorgeous Alxis Bittar gold cuffs (low 200s) I appreciate a store that offers a range like this. They also had clothing and great winter scarves and gloves, plus cool lap top bags from Highway (NYC). A little of everything can be found - cookbooks, graphic design plates, bird votives, chocolate candles, cloth or leather tote bags, handmade ceramic vases, perfumes....The owner was really nice and the whole vibe of the store was hip and welcoming. HIGHLY recommended!

Great find in the North End, Travel down Salem Street, just one block over from Hanover, the main street and you will find a really unique and cool little boutique! They carry a little of everything and it is all really pretty and makes me want to give gifts to all my friends, get a new wardrobe, redecorate my house, buy it all,. It was a nice change from big box stores because they carry lots of local designers and stuff I have not seen before. A real treat! Beautiful jewelry, awesome handbags, fragranced candles, porcelain lotus shape candleholders, cool lamps, plus a whole room filled with cool trendy women's clothes!!! Open late on weekends!

We love this cute little shop in the North End. My two college-age daughters and I always find wonderful things here. It's great that they have a little something for everyone! We live in New York but always make this a priority on our visits to Boston. We'll be back before Christmas and can't wait to see what they have in stock!

Walking through the North End on a nice Saturday afternoon, grabbing some great Italian food, this little spot adds to the whole experience of local flavor. It's got all kinds of unique crafts - pretty modern, but not obnoxiously so, as many stores of this type tend to be. Definitely interesting. Also, the staff was pretty wam and friendly with me.
