Song Restaurant

Song is my favorite Thai restaurant because it is consistently good. It can get crowded and a bit loud due to the live DJ. The food is really affordable and tasty. I love the pad see yue, the gai prik khing, and the fried spring rolls. Song's flagship restaurant is Joya in Cobble Hill. Both locations serve up great Thai!

Song is one of the area's newer Thai restaurants. The space is open and industrial, featuring huge front windows and a small kitchen that you can see clearly both from inside the restaurant and outside on Fifth Avenue. The food is good--it doesn't stand out from other Thai restaurants in the area, but I don't think it necessarily needs to in order for the restaurant to be worth checking out. It does get crowded and annoyingly loud at times, so when I want Thai food I usually end up going to Thai Sky down the street because it's smaller and more quiet and peaceful.
