Paw Patch Animal Hospital

I have been taking my pets to Paw Patch Animal Hospital for the last 18 years. We started with our Dalmatian, Dottie. She had some skin conditions and things of that nature. Dr. Welch always took care of her. When the time finally came to make "that decision" I had been referred to another hospital for an ultrasound. They called me and said her condition was deteriorating and we should come back out. The phone then rang a couple minutes later. It was Dr. Welch calling to check in on us. It was after midnight! I asked her opinion of what to do. We went with her recommendation without hesitation.Dr Welch is the best! Thank you for taking care of Dots and keeping her with us for 11 years.Dr. Welch's Tracker was a major factor in us getting Sammi, our Golden Retriever. I will never take my pets anywhere other than Paw Patch!

My family has been using Paw Patch for more than ten years. They helped us when we bred our dalmatian, and were very supportive when she later developed allergies and neurological problems.

Recently we got into dog rescue. Paw Patch is very reasonably priced, and is willing to work with our rescue group. When a specialist is needed, they provide referrals to the Mizzou vet hospital. Because of this, we are often given the "medical problem" dogs to foster.

Paw Patch also does on-site spays & neuters.

I have been bringing my dogs to Paw Patch for over 16 years. My Sheltie was the first dog to be taken there and is still doing fine today. The other experience with Paw Patch was a Golden Retriever that I got as a 6 week old puppy 10 1/2 years ago. At about the age of 3 yrs he started having seizures, as time went on many other health problems developed, including thyroid, skin conditions, bladder problems and extreme anxiety of storms.. I always went to Dr Welch because she has always been the doctor for my dogs. She is so compassionate and takes the time to explain everything and the options completely. I had many times that I had to call and ask to bring him in right away because of various issues related to all his medical problems, and there was never any problem getting him in. With the great care of Paw Patch I was able to nurse a dog with an incredible amout of health problems, yet a wonderful fun and loving spirit to a much longer life than I thought was possible. I can never thank them enough for all the wonderful care and concern they always had for Curlie. They all loved him. He was the best dog I have ever had in my entire life and I am in my 50 's, he just died in November, I miss him terribly but am so grateful that Dr Welch at Paw Patch was the Vet that I choose when he was a puppy, because I am not so sure that he may have been with me as long had I went to someone else. I will continue to take my Sheltie there and when I feel that I am up to replacing my Curlie I will contiue going to Paw Patch.
