i went to Van Chevrolet as i am in need of a car and really enjoy my Impala. I was looking used but instead of asking what I was interested in I was shown what I wanted which wasn't really true. Then after a bit was shown but not allowed

This dealership does not care about it's customers once the sale is made. I am a senior citizen who bought a used car for my grand daughter there. I also bought a warranty for the car. It has been a nightmare since. The car has been in the shop more than it has been at my home. The warranty has not covered the problems the car has and I am out thousands of dollars on this deal. No one there cares. I would never recommend this business to anyone

My wife called to see what kind of warranty we had on my truck and they told her I had 3yr 36k protection when I had actually purchased the 100k protection plan. Once I got that cleared up, it was time to take it to their service dept. It all started out fine- we took truck and dropped it off in the evening and Chris D. called me early the next morning with a diagnosis for why my trucks engine was missing. His explanation was a cylinder and therefore a spark plug was fouling and he recommended new plugs and wires, fuel injection treatment, and due to light indicating low pressure on back tire, a plug for that. $730!!!? I was obviously amazed with the cost and told him I would call him back after digestion. I called back and told him I thought it was expensive and I was going to pick it up and take it to a trusted shop. Thats when he took offense and confronted me like I had accused him of calling him a thief. It got to the point that I asked him if he was done and ended the phone call. After paying $115 I was able to take my truck without being fixed. I took my truck to a great little shop in Parkville and they not only confirmed that it was not the spark plugs, but fixed the problem which was actually carbonization in the fuel injection system added 2 quarts of oil and cleaned throttle body, upper intake as well as performing all other required scheduled maintenance services for my vehicle. Thats not all!! 3 months ago I had my tires rotated and balanced at Vanripoff Chevrolet at $200 +. So you can imagine my disappointment when the good people at the shop said they had to rotate my tires because of uneven wear! For all this they charged me $190 which reflected a savings of $40 because my wife told them we had problems with Van and they knew that they still hit us for $115--We did not ask for discount!! There is a big difference between good old honest folks and crooks in that business. I did not like my experience when I bought my vehicle at Van Chevrolet or at any other time or experience. You leave feeling like a mark...Please tell everyone you know that Van Chevrolet, across the board does not care about its customers or its service to its customers. Thanks for your time

We bought a van from Van Chevrolet and were treated well. There was no hard pressure sales, they quoted a price and didn't keep us when we said we needed to look. Good place to trade if you get the right salesman.
