Pros: Great prices great food

I won't be eating at Whiffle Boys after learning they have dishonest business practices. They need to clean up their act and restaurant if they want to be successful. Thanks.

I think they do have a good pizza. BUT, I worked there over the summer. I have managed in the pizza business for over 7 years. They paid 'under' minimum wage and considered us 'contract' laborers in order to get out of paying taxes. I decided to quit based on this and they still have not given me my last paycheck, despite me coming into the store at least 6 times since it should have been there. AND, when I was training there Murphysboro store was nasty and I would never eat at a place that dirty. I counted at least 3 roaches crawling up the walls that night. I have to imagine that cleanliness is not top of their priority and I doubt Carbondale is as clean as it was when they first began over the summer. Yes, i thought their pizza was good, but I would not want to eat at a place that relies on jipping their employees, especially the people that are managing the place.

I worked for Whiffle boys when they first opened in Carbondale over the summer. They paid us, including managers and insiders, UNDER minimum wage. They decided that they didn't want to pay taxes and that the 7 dollars an hour was adequate for us.
I have worked as a manager in the pizza business for over seven years. I felt this as unacceptable and quit. I have since been to the store at least 6 times to collect my last paycheck. It is never there! They owe me close to 400 dollars. I have had to resort to getting in contact with the Department of Labor.
All in all, if you're looking for a good pizza. Sure, they're not bad. They can keep it cheap too because they get around paying their employees what they deserve, and everybody at least deserves minimum wage. I am speaking of management and insiders and those who do not work for tips.
AND, when training at the Murphyboro location I was disgusted by the lack of cleanliness. I counted 3 roaches crawling up the wall. I would never eat their pizza because it was a NASTY site to see.

Pros: good pizza

Cons: bad business

This is really good pizza with excellent toppings. I prefer the regular crust as the thin crust was a bit too crispy. Delivery time is fast. An extra layer of corrugated material helps keep the pizza hot and the box clean so that you can recycle it.

Yum, Yum Yum. These Hometown Whiffle Boys know how to make a pizza! They run great coupons, make sure to use them. They recently opened another place in Carbondale.

Wiffle Boys Pizza is fairly new, but they have pretty good pizza. Their prices are excellent, especially for a family on a budget.
The cheese bread is the best! Ask for extra sauce for dipping!
Cheese bread is popular with the kids, who may not like all the pizza toppings.
Super-nice staff and delivery persons.
Eat there tonight!
