The CVS located at 116 Washington Av in Cedarhurts (5TOWNS) is most horrible pharmacy I have even used. There are too many people "working". The store itself is not bad, but God forbid to file prescription. When I have filed prescription for the first time at this location, they lost it. I had to ask my doctor for another one. Well, everyone is in title to make mistake. God, what happened on my next visit? Happened that my insurance was not covering my meds. What usually pharmacy does in this?THEY CONTACT YOUR DOCTOR TO SEE IF THERE IS SOMETHING ELSE THE DOCTOR WANTS TO SUBSTITUTE MEDS WITH!!!!!!!!!! Not in this pharmacy: they called "me" and left "me" a message on a number that I have never heard of. 5 hours later my prescription is still not filled. And I told them to contact my doctor, but 5 hours later my doctor is not in his office anymore. They had to wait till my doctor calls them to change my meds. This med was antibiotic which I suppose to start to take immediately. Pharmacist apologized and I left home. On my way home I was trying to contact the pharmacy to ask if my doctor called. I called 3 times and each time I was waiting for someone to answer, but no one did. Exactly 24 hours later I am going back to pick my meds. Guess what: my medication is still not ready!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 20 minutes later I have finally was able to walk out with meds!!!!
I think the way this "pharmacy" operates, its would be better for CVS headquarters to shut down this location ones and for all. I really hate this location not for doing this to me but also because they also have very nasty sales personnel.
