Clown Pediatrics Pc

Dr. Roscoe saw our baby in the hospital and when we took our baby to Clown Peds for the 1st time, we had a great experience. Dr. Roscoe is a wonderful dr! The office staff are polite and very friendly.
The setting is in a Christain atmosphere which is wonderful! The office is decorated in brightly colored clown & circus themes which the kids love. They also have a fish tank that have fish that look like Nemo. :)
THE OFFICE IS ACCEPTING NEW PTS, and in fact they have added a couple new nurse practitioners to the staff to help accomodate the pts needs and offer longer more convenient hrs. Including evenings and weekend hrs... which is awesome for those who work during the day and besides kids just don't get sick during the week which makes the Sat hrs nice as well. They also have after hrs/ on call contact info for the dr.
I was also told that the practice is growing since they are accepting new pts & that they will be moving in the next few months to a new bigger office in nearby Greenwood (near the mall).
I was also told that Dr. Roscoe has children of his own so he has first hand experience.
Dr. Roscoe didn't seem to be in a hurry like some drs have a tendancy of doing, and he sat down and answered all of our questions and was very informative. His nurse is very nice as well & very friendly.
Overall the dr and office staff are wonderful! We would recommend him to anyone looking for a wonderful pediatrician dr!

Dr Roscoe is a good dr. He saw our son in the hospital when he was born. Dr Roscoe mentioned that we could bring him to his practice. However everytime I call they say they are not accepting new pts-- even though Dr. Roscoe saw my son in the hospital. Another month or so later, I called back to see of they were accepting new pts & they tell me that they are now only accepting newborns. Go figure when my son was a newborn they weren't accepting them. So yeah, I agree with the other post regarding new pts...it does seem to be a big game!

We met with Dr. Roscoe at the advice of friends. We love the doctor & staff! We have NEVER had any issues with getting in or getting over the phone advice during or after hours. We're blessed to find such a great office!

Dr. Roscoe and his staff are AMAZING! My daughter has been going there since birth and I would NEVER trust anyone else with her care! They have always been able to get my daughter in the same day I called, were NEVER condescending or rude, and truly and genuinely care about her well-being. They recognize her every time she comes in the door - that's more than I can say about any medical professional I've ever dealt with. The office is always clean and is so adorable and fun for the kids, and the staff treat you like a member of their family and never an outsider. If they have ever been rude to you pp (which I seriously doubt your story to begin with!) then you were obviously very rude first! I have many nieces and nephews and friends w/ kids in the area, and have heard their pediatrician horror stories - I have NEVER had one in the year we've worked with Dr. Roscoe and I doubt I ever will!

I started taking my first child in 2005 and now take my 10 month old twins. I have never had any problems. I like Dr. Roscoe, his staff and the Christian atmosphere.

I have been taking my daughter to Dr. Rosco for over a year now (since she was born). Being a new mom, especially in the beginning, I would freak out about the littlest things. There were a few times in the middle of the night, when i was worried about something and i wasnt sure if it was something to call him then about. Dr. Rosco aways called me back, even if it ended up being something little. I always felt bad having to call late at night but he told me that is what he was there for. Now, that doesnt mean to call him for something that can wait until the next day, but if you are worried and think it needs to be addressed then you can call, and he will be there for you. He is very down to earth and loves the kids he works with. The office is very fun for the kids. From the pictures painted on the walls to every room a different theme. To the toss game at the exit.You leave the office feeling like all of your questions and concerns have been answered and taken care of. I would recommend him to any parent! The staff that works with him is very helpful and kind. The nurses are always excited to see the kids. They are very caring when the kids come in sick. my husband and i looked and looked for the right doctor for my baby and i am thankful to have found this office!

I just read the previous post on this site and I could not let it go without recording my families personal experience regarding this Pediatrics office. My wife and I have been taking our children 3yrs old and 6month old) to Clown Pediatrics for 3 years now. We have had nothing but great service and friendly caring staff the entire time. There have been numerous occasions when we have had urgent concerns late at night and had to call and leave a message for Dr. Roscoe. He has NEVER failed to call us back within the hour and has always given us great council regarding our children. As far as the care staff and the office policies, our calls have always been responded to promptly and we have never had problems getting an appointment. In fact, we can usually get an appointment the same day if the kids are really sick or the next day if they are not. The office will "make" room for us if they have to. I can't comment on how hard it is to become a new patient at this office because it may have changed since we went through this procedure. I am sure it is allot harder now as Clown Pediatrics is very respected and known to be a great place to take your kids in the Greenwood, IN area. My advice to the previous poster is to give this office a second chance, and have an open discussion with them about what their on board policies really are. I'm sure that Dr. Roscoe himself would be willing to speak to any reasonable request for information. I am also sure that if they aren't currently taking patients that there is a waiting list you can be added too.Clown Pediatrics and the all the staff genuinely care about the people they serve and if they knew about this post I am sure they would do everything they could to rectify whatever it was that made you so angry. The nurses are completely condescending in their "Oh, I know how hard it can be to get in" attitude. Dr. Roscoe only takes new patients at the beginning of the month, which is what they tell you the firs time you call. A month later, the second time you call, they tell you that it has to be first thing in the morning. Another month later they tel you that they only take 10 people and that you are too late. Another month later they tell you that even though you called the very second they opened, they actually accepted messages hours before they opened. A month late when you call early and leave a message, they will take 10 live calls before listening to messages. In other words, it's a ridiculous game. If there is a method for establishing care, tell us what it is and stop with all the games.

My whole family loves Dr. Roscoe and his whole staff. They are like family to us. He genuinely cares deeply about our child and Dr. Roscoe has always expressed interest in being my child's doctor into adulthood. We can't wait until our family grows and he is the Doctor for all of our children. He is truly a blessing.

I have been taking my children to see Dr. Roscoe just a short time, but I am certainly impressed by the care and concern shown not only by the doctor himself, but by the nurses and office staff.

Front staff are friendly, phone messages are returned promptly, the nurse is kind and friendly :)

The doctor and nurse use a computerized 'clip board' to enter information that is uploaded to the doctor's computer at the office, and at his home. He has made it a point to state that he is on call 24-7 and to call him whenever we need to. He said he is not fond of the ER or clinics, and would rather we call him after hours, instead of taking my children there. How impressive is that!?!?!?
