Restaurant seemed nice, although was curiously quiet on a weekend evening. Service was okay, waiter came over too much as he didn't have many other tables with patrons. Had horrendous illness from the food that knocked me out for 3 days

Pros: Good Pizza, Nice Wine List

Cons: Service

For good Italian food in Boston, you don't always have to venture into the tourist-trap North End. Sorriso is located off the beaten path in the Financial District, but serves excellent Italian-inspired dishes to the mostly professional lunch and dinner crowds.

Sorriso is more casual than it's French sister restaurant Les Zygomates (located two doors down- both owned by the same person), but is a nice dining experience none-the-less. The dining room is artfully decorated with items like dark tables and twig-chandaliers which add to the rustic, yet refined feel.

The menu at Sorriso has many traditional Italian plates to choose from like some pastas and pizza. For lunch they also have excellent unique sandwiches- my favorite has chunks of pumpkin and gruyere cheese. Service is always top notch as well.

PROS: Good Italian, Convienient Location
CONS: None
