This place is conviently located. Within the past two years, they have re-done the place and it looks great! There are a lot of options--I usually get breakfast, since I personally am not a fan of the taste of their dinners. Prices are great too!

Somerset is one of the best diners in the area surrounding Rutgers University. The best part is that they offer a 10% discount to anyone with a Rutgers student id. They also have a big crowd and you will have a long wait on Saturday and Sunday afternoons. Their sandwiches are delicious. The waitresses are sweet and move fast. Definitely recommended!

Somerset diner has been around for a while, though of late, their quality has diminished. The food is decent, and the portions are a good value for the money, though this is a diner. One key indicator of a diner's quality, the mozzarella sticks, have gone down hill significantly. Go there for a quick bite, but this is not a date place.
