.

This Business Library branch is located within walking distance of the Cadman Plaza Post Office the borough's largest retail post office in Brooklyn as well as Metrotech Center, Brooklyn's only major hotel The Marriott and Borough Hall.

While they do not have enough current fiction paperback books, they stock many NY Times bestsellers ad nauseum. Their fiction collection is quite sparse, I guess mainly because the Business Library's concentration is for businesses and individuals looking to find free information on business, corporations, investments and entrepreneurships. Corporations, small business owners, investors, employees, students and entrepreneurs all use this library for current info on grants, programs, discounting, licensing in Brooklyn & New York State. They also have information by state, supposing for instance you wanted to know the laws about opening up a new business or taking over another business in one state while still living in NY or vice versa, knowledge of those laws and practices needed on a state by state basis are at your fingertips.

In addition to all these resources, they also have a decent video & dvd library, great reference materials on corporations old and new, and a great promotion every year for entrepreneurships (they give $5,000 to $10,000 a year to several new businesses in a grant promotion)

PROS: Quiet Area, Friendly Staff, MANY reference Materials on Businesses
CONS: Limited Selection of Fiction Books.
