When I think of my experience with Salon Fiber, the 1st word that comes to mind is "UNPROFESSIONALl". This salon boasts of EXTREMELY unprofessional owners!!! The owners should be ashamed of themselves. Wendy and her husband, Jay have no idea how to treat clients or what is important to run a business and keep people happy. If u make an appt here and need to run a few mins late, make sure not to let them know ahead of time (2-days notice I gave as a matter-of-fact). Otherwise, expect to be screamed at by Jay and told that he doesn't like you b/c u insulted his wife by asking to arrive late in the 1st place. I mean god forbid u actually have a life outside of the salon that may require your time which could inconvenience them! What a concept???!!! This is all while Jay will more than likely be badmouthing another client right out in the open!!! He boasted of "his plan to fire a client" and was giving people a "heads-up" in case it got nasty. Interesting... this should have been my cue to bolt right then but I thought I'd ignore the unprofessional little man and get my hair done by his seemingly talented wife. Oh no... the experience I had at this place is nothing I could have even believed for a moment until it happened and I experienced it with my own eyes and ears! This place deserves NO STARS let alone 1. I can only say that I am happy to give my $$$ to another salon in the area. After all, they are about a hundred to choose from locally anyway. I have experienced better and more courteous service at Hair Cuttery with my child's $10 hc than at this dump. STAY FAR FAR AWAY!!!!!

Wendy, her stylist/husband Jay and their staff are friendly, enegertic and bring a 'city' sensibility to the heart of the burbs. They just moved 'round the corner from their bridge street locale, and the new place is more 'homey' but very nicely designed. The scalp massage pre-cut is lovely and you always feel well taken care of. Probably a weensy pricey for the area, but right in line with other shops of their caliber.

I am the kind of person that only gets my hair cut once a year but I've had two cuts at Fiber and both have been very good. They listened to what I wanted and did just that. The prices are a little high but worth it.
