At Salon Three Thirty , we believe in approaching hair according to the capability of the natural texture, thickness and movement. Creatively, we work forward to incorporate the lifestyle and desires of the client while staying within these parameters. Color compliments the cut and enhances facial features with subtle or rich accents, but always maintaining strong healthy hair. We specialize in creating an "oasis of calm" for our clients. The salon feels vibrant, yet it doesn't overwhelm and everyone needs a little relief every now and then.
We have just moved into the neighborhood and my son needed a haircut quickly. I suggested Salon Three-Thirty as it is not far from our home. He went there and I must say that he was delighted with the service he found. He looks so much younger now and he loved the complimentary massage. Price is reasonable in return for the service. We will come back for sure.

Salon THREE thirty... I was at the original Barney's and Yancey cut my hair @ Roger Thompson salon.. I moved and lost touch. moved back and within once conversation, at a random party ,about salons I was directed back to the one I wanted .. YANCEY !! KISMET ?
I called three thirty the next day. Yancey is so great he totally remembered me from 12 years ago.... I am complete... Yancey is the best.
I am a married straight man and so is he, married and straight ... I don't want you to think I am a stalker or a past love.
I do REALLY love what he does to my hair.

Christian at Salon 330 does a phenomenal job! I've lived all over the world and been to the best stylists in each city. Yet, I don't think I've ever had a haircut this stylish and flattering. I get compliments from friends, co-workers and strangers! People stop me everywhere to tell me how cute my hair is - literally, I've been stopped in the grocery store and even the bathroom with people complimenting my hair! I went to Christian because I was bored with my previous style and gave him very little direction other than I want something fun, stylish, and flattering. He created my new look, which was perfect. I feel very lucky to have found him! I highly recommend Christian.
Also, receptionist is extremely helpful and pleasant. She couldn't be nicer.
Pros: Excellent stylists
Cons: The space is tight

Like most women, I am very particular about who does my hair color. When I came in to my appointment, it was so refreshing to feel the cool-upscale un-stuffy atmosphere and friendliness of the staff.
I know I can be very demanding and I don't have a problem paying when it comes to good service (and my hair). Like I said, I just moved to Dallas and needed a Dallas look, so I told the colorist I wanted to be as blond as possible.
I was disappointed when Alejandro, the colourist told me he couldn't do it, he explained to me in detail why he couldn't nor want to color my hair as I requested. That's when Alejandro started to impress me, he takes so much pride in to his work, he actually cares about the health of my hair.
Needless to say I left the salon with a fabulous natural look, not even my stylist in Beverly Hills had ever matched it before. My friends keep asking where I get my hair done all I say is Alejandro at Salon Three Thirty, Thanks!
Pros: Fabulous Hair
Cons: Have to book in advance

Don't bother with this place! In March I wasted my time, money, and 9-10 inches of hair by coming into this salon and allowing Christian to cut my hair. I have several points to make: (which after losing that much hair I can just now 7 months later begin to talk about my experience)
(1) I paid a bunch of $ for a guy who still uses his T&G shoulder plastic thing and is still cutting hair like he works at Toni & Guy - if I wanted a T&G experience I would have gone to the MALL not uptown Dallas. In making this appt I made the mistake of thinking that I could simply price myself out of the chance of getting a bad hair cut but I was wrong!
(2) Christian cut my long, wavy, thick hair into a mushroom poof. then when I went back two weeks later b/c a duck tail had developed at back, he was rude about it and spent the five whole minutes it took him to fix it bitching about how this was HIS ONLY APPT THE ENTIRE DAY! That would have been a nice clue to have about his demand before I allowed him to butcher my hair!
(maybe the other stylists at this place are better but I am not willing to chance it!)
Pros: Kerastase products
Cons: TERRIBLE HAIR CUT!

As a long time patron of salon three thirty I am always satisfied with not only my hair, but also the general service I receive. I feel like the most important person every time I am there. I am greeted promptly and taken care of throughout my visit. There is excellent energy and communication at the salon. My hair always looks fabulous when I leave, and it stays looking fabulous. I am extremely loyal to my colorist and stylist, however, when I forget to book an appointment ahead of time and find myself unable to get in, I have been recommended to other stylists at the salon. I am satisfied with every stylist that has done my hair. I honestly don't think salon three thirty has anything less than the best!

I visited Salon 330 twice after my regular stylist left Dallas for the wilds of Arizona. I?m a believer in going twice as the first time you might not get the communication exactly right between you but by the end of the second visit kinks should be worked out.
Both times I left disappointed. I have curly hair. I like minimum fuss, and a low maintenance style. I do not have an hour to spend on my hair every morning blowing it out. I explained all of this to my stylist Cristian. He didn?t quite get it the first time, but I decided I?d give him another shot, and on my second visit he asked me did I style my hair much between visits (!!!)? low maintenance ? remember! Then he told me he didn?t have much experience with curly hair? Not what you want to hear when you're the one with curly hair.
Another problem was that 4 weeks after my cut I was looking horrendous. No shape or style about my hair. Just a shag carpet on my head. Usually I can go 6-8 weeks between cuts. So I?ve decided to venture elsewhere and hope for a little more care and consideration!
Pros: Reception Staff are nice
Cons: Unhappy with my haircut

This is the where you want to go when you want the whole package. Minimalist chic interior, amazing art showcased from neighboring galleries, stellar receptionist, great products, superior stylists and what I call color "specialists." I'll be really honest with you: I'm pretty sure I have the MOST GORGEOUS HAIRCUT & COLOR ON THE PLANET. Best of all, every single person - male & female - that I have referred to Salon Three Thirty LOVES their stylist and remains a loyal client to this day. That is when you know it's the real deal.
Pros: Long, relaxed appointment times (and quick when you need to be in and out). You are always the most important person there.

I went into the salon a bit nervous as I always am when getting my hair cut by someone new. I've had too many bad haircuts in my life not to be. I wanted a more clean and polished look and Yancey gave me just that! I got an adorable haircut and he actually gave me bangs that I like. I love the cut and it's so much easier to work with. He knew exactly what my hair needed. Thank you Yancey! The only thing is the price is a bit high but I guess that's the price you pay for a great cut. The staff is super friendly and I will definately be visiting again.
Pros: great cut, friendly staff, atmosphere, great hair products
Cons: a bit pricey

If you live in Dallas and you haven't been to this salon you are missing out. OK, so Christian cut my hair he is fun, kind, fast and generally a nice lunch hour hair cut break. I have a very high stress job and getting your hair cut by someone with a bad attitude doesn't work for me.
But, more importantly than his great attitude Christian is TALENTED and LISTENS. This is a hard combo to find. I have once had a very talented hairdresser but she did whatever she wanted with my hair ....I once had one that listened but he wasn't good at cutting.
Chrisitan cut my hair EXACTLY how I told him. I didn't have to do a lot of describing he understood what I wanted. In the past I have taken in pictures to hairdressers and they didn't cut even to resemble the picture at all...but not here. I GOT EXACTLY THE HAIRCUT I WANTED!!!!!
After I got home I washed my hair and styled myself ...i saw exactly how awesome my hair was cut. I just wanted to say that I haven't been able to get a REALLY GOOD haircut, like this, for 4 years. Since my talented hairdresser than didn't listen.
So, after this great haircut and a really nice and friendly salon from the receptionist I thought this cut was going to cost me. But this was a 5 star salon experience at a 3 star price ...when the receptionist said $65 -wash cut and style-- I was shocked.I mean I would have gladly paid at least $100.
The best part was that this salon uses absolutely the best --Kerastase Products. And for some reason I think they charged at least $10 less for each product than my old salon for exactly the same products.
Ok ladies go see Chrisitan at this Salon Thirty-Three. And Christian if you start charging a bunch more because I gave you a great review and you become the hottest thing in town, like my seamstress did, I am coming after you ;)!!!!
Pros: VALUE!!
Cons: none!

This salon is like no other salon I have been in. No trendy salon pictures and magazines, glad to see a break from the norm. Cool contemporary art on the wall. They truly customize the style to the capabilities of your hair and lifestyle. Peg gave me the best hair cut I have ever had, and Rachael did some awesome highlights. The whole staff is highly qualified and super nice. I saw a few of the cities movers and shakers while I was there too! It is right next to the Goss Gallery. I really had a great experience there right from the time I walked in the door! Keep up the great atmosphere and staffing Salon Three Thirty!! I'll definately be back!
Pros: great parking, great location, great receptionist

I am new client at Salon Three Thirty and would highly recommend to everyone who asked. I enjoy every minute that I am there. The front desk is always polite and professional. The staff is genuine and always greeting you, even if you're not seeing them. The most personable, fun bunch of people in a salon. I see Trisha for haircuts and she does an amazing job. My wife sees Allison for color and loves her creativity! If you are looking for a new salon, Salon Three Thirty all the way
Pros: Conveniently located, clean, peaceful, relaxing
Cons: none

I have lived in every major city and was sad (at first) to be in Dallas. I thought it would be like that television show.... with J.R. and stuff..... It is not a country town.... Dallas is a roaring city.... It took a few months to find a salon that was talented AND chic..... I found the best salon ever at salon three thirty...... I have had Yancey cut my hair for the past 3 years.... always flawless and Eric does the best highlights . They take their time and make a girl feel special. They may cost a little more.... worth every penny
thank you
Pros: Fab art work, great uptown location, best magazines (all the European)
Cons: they are closed on MONDAYs : (
