Over the past several years, I've ordered from Steak Out a number of times. Their delivery drivers are always pleasant. My food has always been cooked to order and the cheesecake is OUT OF THIS WORLD! On the rare occasion that I've had to call the store because of problems, the managers are always helpful and prompt to correct the error. I love the fact that I can order online at www.wedeliversteaks.com. Usually the wait time is about an hour, but it is worth the wait for good service and quality food.

Our experience with the mid-town Mongtomery (Carter Hill) Steak-Out has been nothing but outstanding. Our orders have always been delivered promptly and correctly. The hot food is hot and the chilled items are cool. The amount is plenty and the price is reasonable. We are loyal customers!

We absolutely love Steak Out on Carter Hill Road in Montgomery. The staff is very helpful and the food is the best! If you want great food fast call them. We love the burgers, grilled chicken and the steak tips but everything is fantastic!

Seems people are quick to express their anger, especially online and for all to read, but slow to let us know their problem. Yes, we do have times we "mess up". We try to rectify all problems as quickly as possible and to our customers' satisfaction. MOST of our customers are very satisfied and love our food and service. Steak Out was one of our favorites delivery restaurants until the last few months. The last two orders placed have taken almost 2 hours to arrive when the "average delivery time" is 45 minutes. The food is no longer piping hot like it used to be when it arrives. The food has taken on a sloppy appearance, which really displeases me because Steak Out had the best cheeseburger I've ever tried. The last two times we ordered from Steak Out we used their new online ordering system. I don't know if that system is faulty or if it's something else because the last time we received our meal, there were additional items on the ticket that we didn't order, namely extra packets of cookies that we were also charged for! Unfortunately, we didn't notice this until after the delivery person had left. Also, their vegetable side dish consisted of a few puny onions, squash and broccoli thrown stir fried and thrown in tin foil. Therefore, Steak Out will NOT be getting our business anymore until they fix their horrible service and their declining food quality. The owners need to be made aware of these problems but I have no idea how to contact them!

We called our order in at 11:00 & called back at 11:50 when our order hadn't arrived (our lunch hour is from 12 to 1;00) & was told the delivery guy was just leaving. At 12:30 we called back & was told he had just left. He arrived at 12:50. Kind of bad since we are located less than 3 miles from Steak out. Out of the 4 lunches delivered, 3 of them went in the trash. The steak tips were hard, cold, & swimming in some kind of smelly sauce. On top of that, there was only about 3 ounces of them. Cannot believe we waited 2 hours & wasted our lunch hour for this crap! Don't think any of us will be calling steak out again. I emailed the company, but have had no response.

I agree with "Sad Steak". It is like they hire the most ignorant people in Montgomery. The owners need to wake up, call in and discretely place an order and see if the service lives up to the price tag. The food is ok. It is the employees that are terrible. My most recent attempt to order from steak out will be my last. I ordered a Sirloin Cheese Steak Sandwich (which they have sense taken from the menu, and was surprisingly a damn good cheesesteak sandwich). When I asked for no green peppers on the sandwich, the employee's response was "This ain't burger king". When i call in to spend $20 per plate I expect to be treated better than this. They will no longer get my business.

I would first like to say that I as a customer, but most of all, as a customer service representative am appauled about the service that my boyfriend and I received. We had ordered the 17 oz. steak entree and asked that it be delivered. Calling from a cell phone the time was 4:20, however the order was not placed until 4:25. We called the Carter Hill location 3 different times inquiring about our order. The times the calls were placed are 6:07pm, 6:21pm, and 6:31pm. The 1st time we called after we placed our order, they told us that it had not yet been an hour, and only 53 mins. This statement alone insulted my intelligence, being that the initial called had taken place an hour and a half ago. The 2nd time we called they asked us for our address apt. # and that the delivery guy was on his way. The 3rd time, Steak out failed to pick up the phone apparently viewing the caller ID and not wanting to hear our complaints. So I called from a different phone, while the other phone is still ringing off the hook and to my surprise, Steak-out answered. I informed Steak-out that my order had just arrived at 6:38pm, 2 hours and 13 minutes from the placement of the initial order. The young lady who answered the phone, (Brittany) asked me to hold on and hung up. I called back and the phone rang continuously and someone finally picked up. I informed the young lady of what had just taken place and she was about connect me back to Brittany, but instead I requested to speak to the manager. The manager got on the phone without addressing herself and said "yeah". I politely introduced myself and she asked who I was speaking with and that I wished to speak to the manager. She then stated that her name was Pat. I informed Pat of the many thing addressed above and also of the delivery man's actions. I informed her that the delivery man placed our order on the ground and that I was very displeased. She stated that she was not responsible for the delivery man or what he did. I informed her that the delivery man stated that he is the 2nd delivery guy to come out and that the 1st delivery man could not find the place. I asked Pat, the manager, what was the purpose of taking our address and phone # if they two would not be used. I asked her that they could have called if there were any problems and she stated that they called several times. Again, my intelligence was insulted. I mentioned to her that we had caller ID and that there were no missed calls on either cell phone. She stated that the problem was that they never did write down our apartment number. I informed her that the incident was never mentioned on either of the calls that we had placed, checking on the delivery. She then put her 1st delivery driver on the phone trying to prove a point, but I asked that he place his manager back on the phone, as this is the reason for my call. She then asked the question, "well what do you want me to do". I informed her that I was very dissatisfied of the service that I had received from the delivery man and from her. and that I was expect more from a store manager. First I have to say that I hate they closed the Bell Rd. store, it was very convenient to us. However, it hasn't slowed us down from ordering from this great alternative to the just "usual" delivery supper. Since, they deliver it really doesn't matter where they are located, because after all they bring it to you!! The ribeye steak sandwich is awesome, so are the steak dinners, with all the trimmings, salad, roll, baked potato. It's true it's going to cost more than that same old, same old "pizza", but this is a "real" meal. This location is clean, the staff is friendly, efficient and courteous as are the delivery folks...probably not a meal you can order delivered every night, but treat yourself sometime, you and your stomach will be glad you did!!

What an old standby! This place is great for that backyard burger type taste done any way you like, throw in a baked potato and you're all set, although some meals are available I believe, such as sirloin tips, etc.

It's worth a try! They do great delivery!
