Mix one bored/indifferent server, grocery store quality sushi, and lame graffiti on the sickly green walls to get Geisha sushi. I'm okay with the graffiti on the walls type places, when the people marking it up have some talent or something to say. But there is nothing interesting or appetizing about "Brenda was here," "HS + JN,' "f&*k you's" and pictures of poop and sex organs.

The food wasn't terrible, nor was it very good. Only sake available was the super cheap green bottle one marked up at least 2X.

So really, when I give two stars as "sorta good," I mean "coulda been worse."

Pros: I've had worse; cheap

Cons: Giant penis graffiti on walls takes away my appetite

Geisha has some very good tasting sushi and the sakki is also very good. The wait staff is courteous and easy going. The food is a little highly priced, but if your looking for good Sushi this is the place to eat.

This intimate sushi bar is my absolute favorite downtown stop; as it is for many many others: you can tell by all of the (encouraged) customer graffiti on the walls. I rarely deviate from the sushi menu, but that's only because everything on it is to die for! The Volcano roll is the best I've ever had. Its a little messy for some, but the mixture of flavor and spice sends your taste buds out of this world. I recommend this place to anyone and everyone. I just wouldn't want it to get too popular. Say hi to Sandy, the restaurant's only waitress/hostess.
