Everything was great as usual. Got my oil change and was told we needed new battery so we got that. Cashier was extremely helpful. I forgot about the rewards program and she was the one that said she would check our points. Ended up saving close to $40.

My experience was above and beyond. I owe that all to Yousef for truly caring about my situation of losing my car to the recent flood. He was authentic, had strong communication and made the process of buying a car not so overwhelming and frustrating. Yousef provided me with the exact car I wanted in the price range I felt comfortable with. And not only did he do that, but he went above and beyond to drive my new car to Houston, where I live, so I didn't have to make the commute again to Clear Lake. During my car search I had been to several dealerships, including Nissan ones in Katy, Tx and Yousef was the only sales person that I truly trusted and respected my limit, what I was looking for and the situation I was in due to the flood. I am beyond thrilled with my new car and 100% know I made the right choice! I have had many remarks on how nice it is and how co-workers and family members are possibly considering looking into purchasing one. If they do get serious about car shopping, I will absolutely provide them with Nissan Clear Lake and specifically Yousef to assist them. I feel that I was taken advantage of at a local auto dealership. On 11/07/11, I purchased a 2004 Volvo S40 from Clear Lake Nissan in League City Tx. I was trading in a 2005 Chevrolet Cavalier which was not paid for. I owed approximately $1900 on it. In addition to my trade in , I put down $1000 dollars. I drove the car for 1 week before they called me back and advised me that the lender was going to require more money down. I stated that I did not have any more money to put down. They stated that they would match me with a different lender that would accept my down payment as it was. The finance representative Ike Pettit that I was working with (who is mysteriously no longer there) said that he would get in contact with me and let me know for sure who the lender was going to be. I continued to drive the car. \n \nOn 11/17/11 Thursday, the check engine light came on. On 11/19 Saturday, I went to have the car serviced at Clear Lake Nissan so that it could be repaired. I was told that they were not going to be able to look at the vehicle that day because they had so many others to service and they closed at 3. They asked me to come back on Monday. On 11/19 Saturday afternoon, I was driving down the freeway, and turned on the air conditioner. All of a sudden smoke started coming out of the air vents, then the car started to misfire. I made it to a safe place, called my road side assistance and had the vehicle towed to Clear Lake Nissan. On Monday 11/21/11, I was informed by the service department that the heater coil was damaged which caused smoke to come out of the air vents. Also, it was leaking anti-freeze which caused the car to misfire. Next the gentleman proceeded to tell me that this was not covered under my ""limited warranty"" and that I would have to take it to a volvo dealership. \n\nOn Monday 11/21/11 I recieved a phone call from Consumer Mortgage (my auto financier) stating that I was delinquent on my payment for my 2005 Chevrolet Cavalier. The same vehicle that I had used as part of my trade in. I informed them that I traded that vehicle in two weeks prior, gave them the name of the dealership, who I worked with etc. I also informed them that they should be aware of this because I was financing my new volvo with them as well. They stated that they were not aware of any other vehicle that I am financing other than the Chevrolet Cavalier. So then I started to think, do I even own this vehicle? I contacted numerous people at Clear Lake Nissan and finally, I was able to speak to the Finance Manager Manny. \n\nI explained everything that happened and how I felt that I was not responsible for the mechanical problems that the vehicle was experiencing. I further let him know that I was not 100% sure that this vehicle even belonged to me. He stated that he would call me back which he did and stated that if I wanted out of the deal, he would let me. He stated that I could have my trade-in back as well as my down payment of $1000.\n\nOn 11/22/11, I went back to Clear Lake Nissan for what felt like the 25th time, I went there to get my $1000 down payment, and my trade-in. I was informed when I got there, that my vehicle had been sold and is in Mexico. I chose to take my money back. I believe that the public should be made aware of the shady and questionable business practices that are being used in the automotive industry. I am a nursing student, and I work full time. I don't have the time or energy to deal with dishonest people that call themselves car dealers.\n

Sooo, I contacted CLN through the internet to find out what their hype was about. I e-mailed a few times back and forth and decided to go forth with doing their ""online credit application"" I got the e-mail back saying i was fine nothing to worry about ask for this salesman when you arrive at 7. We arrived at 6:45 told the front lady who we had an appt with and she called him up. The dude didn't even know our names, know anything about the online application, or to acknowledge us at that. He got a short guy that said he would be taking care of us. Then he asked me to fill out a credit app. again and then I knew they just ""bait and hooked"" us in. We had to wait while he greeted another customer after we were there first as serious buyers. They do our credit and say I had a low score but I was over a 700. Never missed a payment in my life on a thing and have other things through finance and a well paying income. So they try and sell us off on some used busted ass trail blazer for 500/mo. Absolutley HELL NO. This place is a flipping joke and a waste of 3 hours...We didn't even get to test drive a vehicle. If you make an appt. know about your customer especially when they are you source of income. *PLEASE LOOK AT THE REVIEWERS PROFILES ON HERE AND YOU WILL SEE THEY ARE FROM ALL PARTS OF THE COUNTRY AND COMMENT 5 STARS ON EVERY DEALERSHIP AND BUSINESS THEY REVIEW! I star gives them to much credit. Hope I helped someone out =)
