I was really hoping I would like this salon. I will start by saying you SHOULD try it just once. It's $3 for your first tan so really if you dont personally like it then oh well, you only spent $3. I was expecting something much nicer than what I got. First off the decor is not nice at all. The walls are blue and the carpet looks like hotel carpet and its burgundy. It's just very weird. I felt like I was in a motel not a tanning salon. If they redecorated this salon would be SO much nicer. The decor really turned me off but I was still opened minded. They didn't have me sign a release form which I thought was odd. They should have everyone sign one to protect themselves! But whatever not that important. They had a decent lotion selection. Not a lot but definitely enough. So the employees really need to step it up! They were not rude by any means, but not personable at all. I felt kind of weird. Maybe they just were having an off day though I don't know. But the girl didn't ask me any questions or explain anything to me. I was bummed! I wanted them to be excited about me tanning because I was excited. :P But no such luck. All she said was "Do you want one visit or a package?" I said one visit because she didn't explain the packages. No big deal though. If I wanted to know I should have asked. She asked me if I wanted bed or stand up. I said bed. Then she told me it was a 15 minute max and I could start as low as I wanted. That was it. I was wondering like what is the bed like, are there different levels, what is this girl about to put me in? It was just weird. She didn't even show me how to use the equipment. Just told me to push the blue button on the wall. I've been to SO many salons though it wasn't a big deal. For somebody who had never been tanning I can definitely see some issues with this salon. The employee didn't explain anything to me and didn't try to sell me anything. I'm guessing they don't work on commission. They did not seem excited about their job and I was disappointed. Anyway the salon didn't seem very clean. I wiped my bed down with a paper towel before using it because I didn't really trust it. The equipment didn't look well maintained. I was really not in love with this salon at all. In fact it was the first salon I hated. The catch though? I DID get really tan. I was surprised. That is the only thing positive I have to say. I have to be honest, I would rather go to a salon that gets me less tan and is cleaner and more friendly, than go to Luxor. I was really let down. I think the employees manager needs to get their employees more involved and excited about their job. They just seemed kind of like "newbies" if you ask me. Fix up the salon; new carpet new paint, new front desk, keep up cleaning better and this salon would have been a 4 or 5 star. Just needs improvement. But if your the person that just wants to be DARK and doesn't care too much about anything else, you might love this salon. For me though, I go for the tan and the whole experience as a whole. I don't appreciate one without the other.

If you're looking for a salon that really takes care of it's lamps go here. They are fancy but they truly care for their lamps. I've bought a 6 month package four times now and I've never been disappointed by any of the equipment. It's free on your birthday and your first visit is only $3!!!!

This tanning salon has great beds and booths. It is very fancy but not anymore expensive than the others. The beds have more of the non-burning rays than the others and I have gotton a deep dark tan from there. I am hard to tan usually.

PROS: Fancy, works well
CONS:
