The first impression of the crew was very poor. They search you before you board, which is fine for this day and time, but the guys doing it appeared upset and uninviting. As soon as you board, the smell of a dirty ash tray is overwhelming. Later I found the reason, the ventilation cannot keep up with the amount of smoking going on. We get underway and an hour later the gambling starts. Many of the slot machines didn't work, or kept your money, and finding someone to service it was difficult. We tried to make the most of it and enjoy the evening, but again the crew continued to make it impossible. While standing in a slow moving line at the cash cage, I heard a sigh come from behind me. The cashier looked up at the guy with a look like he was going to come over the counter and kill the guy. We all waited for about 20 seconds while this stare down went on, I really thought a fight was about to break out. Once I was finished, I turned to see that the guy behind me was just an old man! Trying to find a table game was hard as well, unless you wanted to play $25 minimum bet. The only roulette table was taken by the same group of people all night! Later my brother and I were walking by a craps table with one guy playing. Suddenly a security guard "thug" got in our face and told us we could not even watch it was a private table, and continued to tell us to leave until we moved past the table. The room was so crowded it was difficult to walk through. I did see one guy win a $2500 jackpot, you could see him everywhere holding a big check. Finally we retired to the aft deck outside. The seasick passengers were laying everywhere. The elevator was broken so it was dangerous for some elderly people trying to get up and down the steep metal stairs while the boat was rocking. We ordered two cheese steak sandwiches, that were littered with gigantic bone fragments, so big, that my brother hurt his tooth. We complained to the staff and they sent the captain of the ship up to us to see how bad his tooth was. He offered him some free booze for his pain. FINALLY we pull in and the passengers empty like rats off a ship, two people in our group of 7 went to the restroom. The rest of us waited together close by and were shouted at by several crew members to get off the ship, and we had to leave. We said we were waiting for people in the bathroom. Then we hear one big bouncer looking guy say, "FINE, I'LL MOVE THEM MYSELF!" A "security guy" comes storming over. Suddenly we hear a shout from the ship captain we met earlier who recognized us while this was going on say "Stop, let them wait, leave them alone!" As we were leaving we passed the "Jackpot winner" hanging out with the crew. Just a hunch, but I think he worked there. Passing the angry pack of dogs, a.k.a. "the crew", before getting off the ship made getting to our cars feel like hitting the jackpot! It is not Vegas, its like the guys who run the bad carnival had a boat and started a trailer park casino. Save yourself the trouble, go buy one of those electronic pocket casinos from Wal-mart, sit on a floaty in the tub, turn on some blinking Christmas lights, light a whole carton of cigarettes and flush your money down the toilet.

This cruise was the worst ever and I would never do it again. The ship was old and beat up looking, and there is nothing but old people on board. You can't start to gamble until after the ship gets to international water, and it takes about an hour to reach international waters. So for the first hour, it is very boring because you can't gamble and the entertainment is terrible. They served food but it was probably the worst food I ever ate. The gaming was okay, but the atmosphere was just awful. I won't be back.
