Barney's LTD Grill & Pub

Go here once in awhile... I go after shopping in Old Town Pasadena. Prices are good and food is pretty tasty. Great atmosphere and staff. Its not my favorite place in old town but a good place to get some beers and little bits to eat!

This is a great spot if you are looking for a place to go to drink beer and chat with friends.

They have a large selection of beers and more tables than a standard bar.

The food selection is also better than average for a bar, though be prepared to pay $10 for a meal. The appetizers are very good.

I find the service is better if you are sitting at the bar.

PROS: Good food, large beer selection
CONS: Inconsistent service

The environment, location, food and prices are all great! The only complaint I have is that the service is slow beyond belief. I don't know if it's the cooks, or the servers, but even when in a hurry, I can't seem to get out of there in less than an hour (even if it's not busy). I haven't been impressed with their refill service either. But the justification is that the food is wonderful. They have lots to choose from, and all that I've tried has been satisfying.
