Interesting, and a bit scary  3 Star Rating - Satisfactory

The attraction shuts down on windy days, which is pretty often actually -- but when it's up, a lot of tourists flock to get up there. The views are pretty breathtaking, but I'm not sure we got our money's worth, as you can only look out the windows for so long before going back down.

The tallest building in Chicago  4 Star Rating - Very good

The Sears Tower Skydeck is one of the destinations we take our out of town visitors to see so they can experience the tallest building in the city. The building has 110 floors and if you are afraid of heights, then I would recommend you stay away. Their elevators have televisions so you can pass the time while you wait to arrive on the top floor. The views are amazing.

See 4 states from 1 location!  5 Star Rating - World class

Would you like to know the best way to see Chicago? Go to the Sears Tower! At Sears tower you can see views from all over Chicago. They say you can see over 40 miles on a clear day. I'm not sure how far I saw but if you use the telescopes you can even read the signs that are far away. In my opinion, the best time to visit is either at dusk or at night. At night the lights on the buildings are beautiful. Admission is around $12 for adults and around $9 for kids. It's not a cheap attraction but it certainly is worth the money.

awesome!  5 Star Rating - World class

No matter if your a new tourist or someone that lives nearby, this building is a must to see. It takes you all the way to the top floor to look below at the amazing city. Make sure to go towards the evening time when you can see the sun setting down and all the lights; its the best!

Good view  4 Star Rating - Very good

The Sears Tower is the tallest building in Chicago, and it has a great view. I prefer the view from the Hancock building, however. While both give you a very panoramic view of Chicago and surrounding areas, the Hancock building gives you a better perspective on downtown Chicago and other areas. Either way, make sure if you're visiting Chicago that you go up in one of the two towers because its a view to remember.

Sears Tower  3 Star Rating - Satisfactory

Not very exciting if you have been there before but a stop you must make if you are visiting Chicago. The prices are a little stiff but its not something you will forget soon. Beautiful views of Chicago and on a clear day they say you can see all the way to Canada- I doubt it but its a nice thought!

PROS: Spectacular view
CONS: Priced High, Crowded.

Birds Eye View!  5 Star Rating - World class

This is one of the best sites to visit in Chicago. One of the tallest buildings in the world, it gives a superb view of Chicago from the top. The skydeck is well organized with info tablets all over the place and coin-operated telescopes all around. A decent food court at the bottom of the building completes the need for a weekend outing.

Great View  5 Star Rating - World class

At Sears Tower Skydeck you can view the City of Chicago from above. At night you can see the entire skyline with lights. There is also resturants and visitor shops. You can also use the telescopes to view in certain areas of Chicago. The pricing are $11.95 for adults and $8.50 for children. It's a must see for vistors to Chicago to one of the tallest building in the world. There is the Sears Tower Parking Garage for parking but there is a charge by hour for parking.

Great View  4 Star Rating - Very good

Chicago became home to the world's tallest building when the Sears Tower was topped off.It can be seen for great distances.
This building uses high-speed, double-deck express elevators & sky lobbies for transfering the visitors.I actually wanted to see one of the world's tallest buildings on my visit to Chicago thats why i visited it.I enjoyed the view from Sears Tower. Once you get up there you can see the photos of the ancient town.it is worth a visit.

Observation Deck to remember  5 Star Rating - World class

A must see tourist attraction for everyone ever in the area. For only $12 for adult admission you get to watch a short but interesting film on the history of the massive skyscraper, then you head up in one of the fastest elevators in the world to the observation deck. With windows facing all directions, the view is just amazing. You can see the city from all sides and the lake view is gorgeous, or zoom in close by putting a few quarters into the viewing machine. You can even hop down a few floors and have a meal while you're there. Since the deck is open until 10pm you can check out the amazing city lights with the night view. Then stop the gift shop on your way out for a sourvinear.

PROS: Great View, information, interesting, cost effecient
CONS: gets old when you go often

Disappointing!  3 Star Rating - Satisfactory

I'm not a big fan of the Sears Tower Observatory. It's overcrowded with tourists and expensive. The views are good, but the experience is ruined by the crowds. For similar views but a better experience, take it from this former Chicago resident and go to the Signature Room Bar in the John Hancock building. You're up almost as high, and for the same price, you can sit down, have a drink and watch the sunset in a relaxing environment.

Bird's Eye View  4 Star Rating - Very good

Take in Chicago's beautiful skyline and architecture from the top of the world's fourth tallest building! The Sear's Tower towers over the city giving the best view around. It's a little expensive, but a must see for your next Chicago visit.

Skip this One and go to the Hancock  3 Star Rating - Satisfactory

This "Chicago Must-See" is over-rated. Do what the locals do when they have guests in town. Skip the $10 ticket to get to the Sears Tower Skydeck and go to the lounge at the Hancock building instead for a drink and a view that's phenomenal and just several stories short of Sears.
