.

I only get 2000 characters to describe my disgust with the MSU Horicultural Gardens and how I was treated. Let's see...how about the fact that they promised my bridal party a classroom to freshen up with, and it was a complete mess? We couldn't even sit down in any of the chairs because they were full of dirt and I couldn't get any of it on my white dress. There was not even a mirror.
The worst part, however, is that they double-booked my preferred location, and didn't bother to tell me about it until less than 3 weeks until my big day. Lest I forget to mention that when we booked the site, we had already had my RECEPTION site cancel on us as well. Their justification?: A trustee's daughter was getting married at the same time as I was, and she "had to have" the Anniversary Plaza for her location.
Instead of apologizing for double-booking, Barb Fails and the MSU staff accused my party of being "unreasonable" when we threatened to take legal action. Thankfully, at the last minute, they finally agreed to fully front the bill for their actions.
My wedding turned out to be a beautiful event. However, I was disgusted with the service I received at MSU and wouldn't recommend them for a wedding site to my worst enemy!

PROS: It was free, that's about it!
CONS: Flaky and rude staff
