Pros: there are none

Cons: I agree, bad service!

.

The waiter we had was too busy eyeing up the young girls at the adjacent table to wait on us. He kept flirting with them so much, that he literally forgot all about us and his other tables, very unprofessional of the establishment for hiring such a person! We won't be going back there, took us waaayyyy too long to get his attention EACH time we tried!

This is exactly what you'd expect from a sushi spot in an artistic neighborhood. It's a cool artistic setting, the servers are on par with the flannel-sporting kids that roam the streets, and like so many places in L5P (Niramish, Luna Nueva, Little Five Corner Tavern), the food is... eh, decent and convenient when you're in the area.

Soba noodles and seared ahi tuna is good but might not be worth the $15, and the sushi selection is similar to every other Thai/Japanese/Sushi place in Atlanta. But a dish that stood out during my last meal there was their Yum Beef. Strips of marinated char-grilled beef that was presented almost like a salad with greens, all gently dressed in this really good sauce, which had lime juice, chili peppers and cilantro in it. Next time I'm in the area I'm going to try the curried fried rice that's laced with pineapple and squid.

Sweet Lime won't pop up any time soon on Best Of Atlanta lists, but not a bad option if you're in the area.

Sweet Lime is a cute little place in Little Five. The sushi is okay. They have a good lunch special. They have great cocktails and good priced martinis. They also have bubble tea!

The atmosphere is fun but the sushi isn't the best. The quality isn't bad but it isn't the best I've ever had. Also most of their rolls are too spicy.

Sweet Lime is a fabulous!! I went for a corporate event and had such a great time that I took girlfriends there the other night. The food is amazing! High quality and flavorful, especially the sushi. (Recommended: Rainbow and Scallop Roll) It's got a cozy atmosphere with dim lights and funky music. The waiters are friendly and casual, and the bartender (Arnie) is hilarious! There's a pretty good variety of dishes too (Thai, Korean, rice, noodles, seafood, vegetarian) so a great place for groups like us who want different things. The best part is that THEY SELL BUBBLE TEA! It's not on the menu but don't miss the small counter on the way in. Two thumbs up Sweet Lime!

It isn't my favorite Sushi place as far as quality, but... that's not to say the quality is bad, because it isn't. It's actually pretty good sushi, and the location is great. I like places you can walk to as oposed to driving to, and this spot is right in Little 5pts. They're always playing good musik, and I've always had friendly service. (but there was this one time that the waitress we had was kinda flighty, and some of the food we never even got, i think she might have been on pain pills, so you never know the scoop there, although it looked like she was limping some too) I definately recommend Sweet Lime, great place to start the night off, and kind romantic too.

The sushi was excellent, atmosphere is nice, but the experience was ruined by the unbelievably bad service we received from our waiter. We went on a Saturday night, and there were only about 5 tables including us. It seemed like the server was waiting for us to get our food before he brought our drinks, which we eventually had to ask for. When I clumsily spilled my water, I was not brought another glass. I asked for one a little later, but eventually had to go to the bar to get it myself. Our sushi was wonderful, but it wasn't until after we finished that I remembered we had ordered edamame as well. Shouldn't that have come before the meal? I mean, it was on the appetizer menu. So, we had our overly salted edamame, some of which tasted like they had been cooked twice, for dessert. I would actually go back for the sushi, but I'll probably get it to go.

This place is friggin awesome!! My girlfriend and I had heard of it but we never knew it was in Little Five until we walked by it the other day. We stopped in for lunch and had the most amazing meal ever!! We ordered the cheese rolls and edemame to start and then Pad Thai (chicken & shrimp) and sushi (Volcano Roll, Pacific Roll). It was incredible! I highly recommend the cheese rolls. They're not cheesesticks like I was expecting... they're spring-roll like and are served with this sweet and sour sauce. And the sushi... probably the best we've ever had in Atlanta. You would think that a "Thai and Sushi" place like this has to be expensive and fancy, but this place proves you wrong!! Overall, this place is highly recommended!

My friends and I come here every time we get the chance to stop by little five points! The asian cuisine and sushi is always fresh and the people there are super friendly! There's funky music playing the background, and the servers are always fun to talk to. It may seem little in size, but bigger isn't always better! There's also a bar with a good variety of drinks. There is also a vegetarian menu that is quite appetizing! YUM-OH!

Sweet Lime was great!! I took my coworkers shopping in Little Five, and we stopped here for dinner. We ended up with a table full of Pad Thai, Yum Beef, and Sushi -- all of which was packed with flavor and came in generous portions. We ended up lounging there for about two hours -- it's a relaxed, low-key atmosphere with funky chill music. The waiters are dressed casually, but they're attendant and seemed to recognize a lot of customers by name. This local place is highly recommended!!

Good & tasty food, Good prices and Good services. This is the first time I dined in this place before the show time at Variety Play House. This place was packed and full house with waiting list but they gave us ( party of 6) the best services with tasty food in a limited time that available. All of us agreed that we will come back some other times and will enjoy having dinner here again and again.

In a word, inconsistent. I love the spicy Tilapia Basil with ground chicken, it's one of my favorite dishes of all the restaurants in this neighborhood. But other dishes are just plain bad (Pad Thai, much of the Sushi). I don't mind the low-key environment, I prefer relaxed to stuffy. So if all of the menu items were as good as the Tilapia, I would give this place a few more stars.

Alright, I'm no sushi snob, trust me. I'm a very down to earth, open minded diner. So when I enter a place that i am willingly ready to hand over my hard earned money in exchange for some good food and possibly good service, I really don't think it's wise for a hostess to yell, "SOMEBODY SEAT THESE PEOPLE!" first thing upon entering your establishment.

I should have taken that as a hint, but we decided to give it a shot despite it's 70's basement rec room "interior". But, not even at the moment we were seated at a dirty table in what smelled like a hamper did my partner and i want to leave. We kept our minds open and decided to just get some bubble tea. Perhaps thee WORST bubble tea i have ever had, with what seemed like stale tapioca pearls (is that even possible?).

Oh well, moving on. The menu was extensive, but we wanted sushi. I asked our server if there were any specials that day, and he hands me a dollar menu. Ok, so we figured on Mondays they try to get rid of last week's old fish by selling it for a dollar. Sushi for a dollar? Bad sign!!! So, we stuck to the normal menu and steered away from what could possibly be old fish. Nice try, but no go.
Not only did the waiter bring me an extra roll of sushi i did NOT order ( i think he was really high), but charged us for it. And these prices are not any less than any "haughty" sushi establishment, and we didn't even get an inspiring interior, decently presentable dinnerware, a table that wasn't made out of stuffed vinyl , and possibly some respect!

After unsuccessfully trying a piece of every roll we ordered and gagging at the bite of older sashimi we received, we decided we needed a drink! Scanning the martini menu, we decided to try the Godzilla, a mixture of sake, Midori and grenadine. The mixed parts were off because it tasted like cough syrup!
At this point we threw in our chop sticks, dreadfully asked for the check and quickly left in a disgusted low.
DO NOT EAT HERE!

This place is by far the best kept secret in Atlanta!! I'm new to metro area but have always been a longtime sushi fan, so my husband and I have been trying different restaurants in Atlanta since we moved here about a year ago. To be honest, I had never heard of Sweet Lime until my friend mentioned it, but we went last weekend and it was SO good!! It's small and tucked away in Little Five points, but let me tell you -- the sushi is extremely fresh and the service was superb! It had a real down-to-earth vibe, nothing fake and 'fancy' about it. Our waiter was prompt with our orders and our glasses were never empty. We originally couldn't decide between two different wines, but she even went out of her way to let us sample them to help us decide. All in all, this place was great -- it is an experience must!!

Don't. Bother.
My friends and I have eaten sushi since we were in grade school -- in New York, in LA, overseas, and all around Atlanta. Sweet Lime is, without doubt, the worst experience any of us has had in a sushi restaurant. The service was APPALLING. I'm pretty easy-going with servers -- if you get the order wrong, I don't feel the need to kick and scream, just make it right. If you forget a drink, it's not gonna cost you your tip, I'm just going to ask for it again, nicely.
This place -- namely, our server -- upset me enough to leave zero dollars, zero cents. I considered asking for a refund on the bill, too.
Our water came out in sporadic amounts of one or two glasses (TWENTY! minutes late) when there were six of us at the table. Our cocktails came out wrong, came out half an hour after we ordered (and there were only three other tables with customers), or didn't come out at all.
This server stared at us as we ate, walked off in the middle of an order, neglected our requests for water, and spoke so quietly that none of us could hear what he was talking about. We had to go to the bar to get the remaining glasses of water.
The kicker was, he STOOD OVER US after handing our bill and credit cards back to us. WATCHING to see what we tipped. I put my pen down and waited for him to leave, and he KEPT COMING BACK every 30 seconds to try and take the bill from my hand.
Height of rudeness, height of neglect, height of CREEPINESS, and the sushi was rubbery and stale.
The red velvet martini's pretty decent. You know, if it actually shows up to your table.
Go to Aiko, go to Zuma, go to freaking Ru San's over this absolutely hole of mediocrity. And trust me, mediocrity is putting it nicely.

Sweet Lime is by far the best Sushi and Thai restaurant in town. I was just out on a stroll in Little Five Points to do some shopping when I came across this cute restaurant! Instantly upon entering I am wafted by this fun-filled atmosphere, and I knew I had to take a seat! I must say I was a little apprehensive to try their sushi, because most sushi restaurants are not as good as they appear to be. However, Sweet Lime went far and beyond my sushi standards! Let's just say that whether you are a first time sushi eater, or a regular one, Sweet Lime is the place to be! Not only is the sushi excellent, but the atmosphere is perfect. There is always lively music playing, and friendly servers to take care of you. Not to mention that there is also a bar with a great variety of drinks! Also, prices are great. You definitely get what you pay for and SO much more. It's all at great values. So, overall, this restaurant is AWESOME! You haven't been to Little Five Points if you haven't been to Sweet Lime! It is THE place to be!

This past Monday, on my way to Stephan's in L5P, to get my spring look together, I had to stop into Sweet Lime. And sweet it is. Funky, fun, and very pleasant. And Monday's are the best. For just a dollar, a piece of quality Sushi. Little Five Points, no other place like it in Atlanta, I need to come more often. The Miso Soup is very good also. The vibe of the people here, is so refreshing, from all the upscale Sushi Bars around town. Should I let my hair grow out, and bring out my old Birkenstock's?

This little niche in Little Five Points is one of my new favorite restaurants. I discovered it accidentally while shopping, and now it is one of my favorite go-to places! The sushi I had (Pacific and Scallop Roll) was fresh, the pieces of fish they gave me were large, AND it was surprisingly affordable. Granted, I should've gone during Dollar Sushi hours, but it was a great value regardless. They had a lot of non-sushi dishes as well. Highly recommended!

This was the worst sushi restaurant I have ever been to. The service was completely atrocious: We spent almost 40 minutes waiting for our drinks, including WATER, which we had to ask for THREE TIMES. The food is sub-par and completely overpriced. But, seriously, the service is the absolute worst I've ever experienced. Awful, horrible, no good. Stay away no matter what.

We tried to have dinner at Sweet Lime before seeing a show. We were seated; and my date stepped out to pick up tickets across the street. I was sitting there for 12 minutes before a waitress asked if I had been helped. I told her no, and she went into the kitchen (I thought she was going to get someone) but she didn't. She walked past me several times without offering something to drink. The waiter that seated us didn't bring over water or bother to take my drink order either. People seated after me were getting their appetizers; and I was getting steamed!!! By the time my date returned; (14 minutes after being seated) we were still water-less. When my date asked why I had not been waited on yet - the server responded that he thought we had left...Funny since I was sitting right in the middle of the restaurant!!! When we finally put in our drink order after 8 minutes they still did not bring our drinks we walked out. This is totally not worth your time, money, or aggravation...

my friend recommended this place, and now i visit all the time! the food is great and the prices are a really good deal. the Yum Beef is REALLY good, especially if u are hungry since it comes in a pretty hefty portion. only things is the place can get kind of busy at times. overall, though, it's got a very relaxing atmosphere with a candle-lit dining room and good, chill music. i'd definitely recommend it!

I came to Inman Park Festival and stop by at Sweet Lime after finish shopping, just want to have some drink for a short break. The bartender, he is so nice & friendly even though he is real busy. Hostess is so helpfull..long waiting line. Table next to me had ordered Korean Beef sizzling..smell so good, make us designed to have dinner here. Korean beef is super flavorful dish and delicious. Osaka roll is very good. The service is A+. I will come back again and will search for other good dishes in menu.

I've called sweet lime three times to place a delivery order and twice no one even bothered to pick up the phone during regular business hours. It came highly recommended so I called back, I got the pad thai, crab cheese crispy rolls and spicy shrimp roll. The food arrived lukewarm, with the exception of the crispy rolls which was overcooked. The person on the phone was rude, took my entire order before noting that she wasn't even sure if there was anyone present who would deliver it-- after taking my credit card information. The pad thai, once reheated, was good, but the spicy shrimp roll was just average. After the crappy service I've received there, I doubt I'll ever bother patronizing the place again, not that anyone would answer the phone. Thai Palate and MF Sushi deliver to the same neighborhoods with better quality food and MUCH better service.

Place an order for pick-up. Wait 45 minutes. Drive to pick up a block away. Wait at bar 15 more minutes while 4 mere tables are being waited on in the restaurant. Side note: spicy means mild at this location. Best bet: Manager Arni. Don't go or order unless manager Arni is in...

We live not far from this spot and I must say, the food is almost always better on "off nights" (Tuesdays, Wednesdays) than on a Friday or Saturday. That being said, the spicy shrimp roll has always been great, and the pad thai is a personal favorite.

Best pad thai in Atlanta is here, tilapia basil as well. Great service, their servers are nice and smart. Good price and value. Good bartender too.

Cons: not enough seats

I used to like their Tuna. It's sad that they can't keep the consistancy of food and service. Padthai was soaky. It seems like nobody there really cared for the customers' feedback. I won't go there again.

sweetlime is my favorite sushi restaurant in the city; the staff is very helpful and the food gets out quick; the sushi itself always tastes very fresh, and this is the first place i go when i have the money to eat out.

I saw an ad for Sweet Lime in CL and it looked unique so my gf and I decided to try it out. We were seated promptly in the dining area with nice lighting and not much noise. The wait staff was friendly and service was good. The spring roll app we tried was average. My gf had the green curry salmon and I had the seared tuna. The green curry had too much coconut milk and was a bit heavy but was ok. The salmon was good however. My tuna was EXCELLENT though! The waitress said it was her fav and I know why. We will return on Wednesday for the dinning special (2 martini's, one app, 2 entress, 1 dessert for $38)
