I recently saw Dr. Milles because my husband and I moved to Baltimore and I had no primary care physician in the area. He was very thorough, listened to all my health concerns and ordered many tests to help assess the causes. I was pleased that he wanted to rule out a large number of potential health problems at once instead of using a piecemeal approach that would have involved a series of visits and tests. After just one visit, some blood work and a follow up, I now have a much better picture of my overall health and know exactly how to remedy the nutritional deficiencies that were causing my aches and pains.

Dr. Milles is nice and personable, his staff is efficient, and his practice seems very well run. Most importantly, I'm happy with the level of care I received.

I went to Milles when a friend recommended him. My dad had already been as well, and liked him. He is the ONLY doctor (and I have been to several, with all the issues I have) that actually LISTENED to my symptoms, and did not just assume it is so and so, and give me some random prescription. He actually researched it, and diagnosed me correctly. THIS IS THE FIRST TIME THIS HAS EVER HAPPENED. And to top that off, I usually have to go through 3-6 different prescriptions before we find one that works. The first one he put me on worked so well, and fixed other problems other doctors couldn't. He knows what he is doing, and HE TRULY CARES FOR HIS PATIENTS!! He is like part of the family. We have since moved, but I still call him with my questions, and will travel for my yearly physical, from Wisconsin to Maryland. He is absolutely amazing.

His front desk people are really nice to. It is just one big caring facility.

PROS: Listens, cares, does the research. DOES NOT RUSH YOU THROUGH YOUR VISIT !!!
CONS: Far from house :(

NEW LOCATION -- ELKRIDGE, MD -- 410-799-8860

Dr. Milles diagnosed and treated a life-threatening medical condition that had been missed (caused?) by my previous physician. Rather than telling me to "live with it", he asked some questions and ran some tests. He helped me take a big step toward ending years of suffering.

Dr. Milles is also open to alternative treatment modalities. I don't think he is personally trained in alternative therapies, but he believes that they can work (unlike most allopathic physicians, who are pathologically territorial and might even stoop to making fun of you), and will work with your alternative provider(s) to get you well again.

My biggest complaint about his old practice had to be the difficulty in getting through on the phone. I once got so frustrated by continuous busy signals that I got in my van and drove to the office to make an appointment! Fortunately, he has since struck out on his own, so it is easier to get through on the phone -- but, unfortunately, he is only one man, so it still sometimes takes a couple of days to get an appointment :o(

If you can get an appointment, Dr. Milles is definitely well worth waiting for!
