This is definitely not JoAnn's--don't expect to get a good deal on the yarn here. That said, they do have some nice unique stuff. As far as knit shops go, the staff is not very knowledgeable (although they are very nice). Considering how expensive a lot of the yarn is, there are better places to go, especially if you're looking for help with your project. The needle selection is pretty standard and they do have a limited amount of buttons, etc (but you might have a hard time finding matching ones).

This is a very nice knit store in the wicker park area. What I liked about the store is the layout. She carrys a variety of yarn, but it is not overwhelming. She has a unique design to her store that is appealing to the eye. It is also nice that she carrys handmade items from local crafters and designers. She has alot of speacilty yarns like bamboo as well as organic cottons. She has a plethora of needles and hand carved crochet hooks. This store is a real treat to visit. Also, she list classes on her website.
