I have been going to see Dawn for several years now and she is wonderful! I have very thick hair and Dawn knew just how to deal with it. For most of my life stylists have acted like they didn't know what to do with it, but Dawn makes it look (and me feel) beautiful every time. I am also very fond of the job she does with my color. The salon itself has always made me feel comfortable and relaxed.

Don't let this small town girl fool you - moved here from Alex and her skills are amazing in color and styling. I have not found anyone in 20 years on the West side of the cities that is as good as her!!

Highly recommended! So good - sent my ex-husband to her and now his brothers go too. Great stylist for Men and Women!

I started going to Michaela in 2001. I have tried other hair colorists who are a little cheaper, but I always keep coming back to Michaela because you can't put a price on quality! It's a casual, funky environment, and there's always good conversation! She is a pro!

Michaela Hubmayer is the best colorist. I have been a client of hers for over 12 years and I always have people commenting on my highlights. Under her care, I have been both a beautiful brunette and a blonde with awesome low lights. I just trust her with my hair and I am super picky. I like Sakada too- it is a laid back, mellow, relaxing place to get your hair done. They are friendly and take care of their guests.

Michaela is truly the most amazing colorist I have ever known. I would follow her anywhere. Her ability to understand my vision combined with her extreme expertise and knowledge makes her the best color artist for fabulous hair across the country. I constantly have women running up to me asking me "Where do you get your hair colored?"Minneapolis is fortunate to have such an amazing artist. I guarantee she will give you the best color you have ever had in your life. And like me, you will want to be a life time client fo hers too! Lisa-Eden Prairie

Shari Kort is a hair magician, both cut (she is THE BEST!) and color (she has trained many stylists because of her talent!) I have limp, pourous hair that is stick straight, impossible to curl yet I get compliments on "how perfect your haircut always is"! Im mostly grey, so she colors my roots every 5 wks and I am always SO pleased. I go to Sakada because Shari is there, but I do love the shop! They have just what I need, the atmosphere is relaxing and I love having a glass of red while I am being pampered. TIP: DERRICK does THE BEST shampoo!

I went to the Sakada for the massage with my friend. I have taken massages at various salons and decided to try this one since it was nearer to my friends house. But i was terribly disappointed .The relaxed feeling was missing after getting massage in this place. The ambience was good and they offer a lot of services.Maybe the other services be world class but their massage is not upto their standard.

PROS: Ambience
CONS: Not very good massage

I was given a spa package at Sakada for my birthday. I was required to make 4 visits for 4 different services. Loved, loved, loved my facial! She listened to my concerns about product allergies and used really gentle products. My next visit was for a massage. She was friendly but made the mistake of telling me she worked on football players. She just needs to adjust her technique a bit for we more "delicate flowers." The next appointment was with a manicurist. She was young, funny and knew what she was doing. I watched her carefully as I used to be a manicurist myself. The best I've saved for last. Amy rescued my hair. I had been "butchered" by my former stylist and she fixed it. I let my hair grow out as long as I could before I went for that last spa visit. Amy, I'm forever indebted. I really did send her a thank you note and let her know she was my "hair hero."

PROS: Lovely, clean salon. They serve wine if you want it.
CONS: Massage a little rough.
