Chinatown Express

This fabulous noodle-and-meat shop is one of the last and finest remains of the rapidly developing Chinatown in Washington, D.C.

Extraordinary roast meats (pork, chicken, and duck among the highlights), fresh and tantalizingly prepared seafoods, and hand-made noodles and dumplings are among the treats this gem has to offer.

Generally inexpensive-- five dollars buys a plate of any of the above-- there are few better deals than this one in D.C.

PROS: Quick service.
CONS: The menu can often be difficult to understand.
