My dog loves it at Trixie & Peanut. Since adopting my dog a year ago, we have become regular customers. The staff is really friendly, knows my dog by name and is always prepared with treats! The first time I shopped there, I had called about a pet carrier and they put the bag on hold for me so my dog could try it out. They really have the best selection around and the best prices. Everyone is so helpful and knowledgeable! They even suggested this great new diet for Lucy and she's lost weight and seems much happier and healthier. We give Trixie and Peanut two big thumbs up!

How nice it was to find another customer online who wasn't singing trixie and peanuts praises. I have spent a lot of money there, but when I wanted to exchange a harness my frenchie never grew into, I was told to shove it. I was a few weeks beyond the 30 day return/exchange, so I was willing to do an in store exchange no problem. It had the tag, I had the receipt, it was never worn, and I have never returned anything before. They brag about their great customer service but I was still told to shove it, albeit with a smile. I will NEVER shop there again.

I had to go to this store. They were having a major sale and I needed sweaters for my chihuahua. It was crowded because of the sale I suppose. There is no "trying on" area, which is a bit of a hassle. I got really high quality coats for my two dogs. I think I'll go back since I have a microscopic new dog, who won't fit into most other brands. I was glad to see there was a foo foo Akita and American Bulldog in the store, not just little ones. I have ordered on-line first and didn't have any problems.

The sizing at this store is maddeningly inconsistent--good luck ordering something over the phone or via the web and actually having it fit. If it doesn't, you get the great task of sending it back and paying the excessive shipping fees Trixie and Peanut will charge you (whatever FedEX or the PO charges, this place will double it). After placing a phone order to redeem a store credit after the first item didn't come close to fitting (I measured my dog carefully and have bought many apparel-related items for her before, so I know her size), I ordered another item based on the advice of a customer sales rep who told me I should order a larger size (Better bigger than smaller, she told me, because the sweater ran small). I had explained how big my dog was, what breed she was, and when the sweater came, it was large enough to fit a Great Dane. It was also, unfortunately, on sale, but my choices were quite limited as there were very few sweaters in her size that were actually available (and not a $100 cashmere one). I called the store, hoping to exchange the sweater since I bought that size on the advice of the customer service rep, and instead got a repeated lecture about how Trixie and Peanut has the GREATEST customer service and that the sweater could not be exchanged because "it wasn't fair to the other customers," and that the customer rep who recommenced the larger size "would NEVER have done that!" I was also a repeat customer, and when I asked the Trixie and Peanut person to look at my history to show that I was a good customer of theirs and to have some sympathy, he replied that "we have other clients that have bought quite a bit here and they don't have a problem with our service or our policies." So in other words, although I shopped there four or five times, I am too small to matter. How nice, plus it was insinuated that I was lying. This place has lost my business over a $35 sweater, but apparently, I was too little for them to really care, anyway.

This store had everything you could possibly want or need to dress up your city dog. Designer duds and other doggie necessities are all here at this downtown location.

NYC residents are all about showing off their pets. This is the place to go if you want to do that. There are cool doggy t-shirts, leashes, collars and accesories. There are gourmet treats that look delicious. It is a cute and chic store that you must visit if you have a pet. You will surely find something you must get!

These folks are the best! I absolutely love them! They have all of the necessities that will pamper your dog! They have a lot of doggie treats and all of the things your dog could ever need. I came in here for some dog food, and they had several different types available. Go check them out!

These guys are great! They have weird and cute stuff for your dog! I went here and got a great colorful leesh and a sweater for my dog. They have a good array of other dog toys and even goodie treats too. The people there were very friendly and were very friendly to my dog as well. I'd definitely come here and get something special for your lovely little one.

A poochs heaven is the best way to describe this store. They offer a wide array of the cutest dog clothing. Their designs are creative and offer very modern and stylish looks. These are not tacky dog clothes. There were some things I wished were made in my size. Also to be found inside is a full line of gourmet doggie treats and stuffed animals.
