2nd Time I submitted a re-fill of a RX (controled sub.) which was 100 percent correct, the Pharm. would come up with excuse after excuse. He once told me it was too early and I replied that it would be almost impossible because I come from the DR. and drop it off ever 30 days! His replie was "Well maybe you do not go exactly every 30 days". After he did the math he told me it was 3 days early. I told him I had this same prob. last month and I told my Dr.- so, the DR. wrote on the script "may fill early" He (Pharm) said that it does not matter, that the state law (NJ) would not let him fill it. I just so happened to be familiar with our state law on CS and told him the "law" gives you "5" days before the last CS was filled. He was wordless then, and after about 10 sec. of silence he said "well, give us a call back in a hour and we should have them ready" Needless to say 2 hrs later when I called they said they could not fill them for 3 days! It's like they want you to be at your very last pill before they will do anything, Which we all can see where that would leave a person it "something" happened that day and u couldn't get to the store. End result, I not filling anymore RX there anymore!

Absolutely alwful. Keep pushing genertics on me. Calling my doctor to bully him to prescribe generics. Argue all the time about generics. Tell me it is the LAW! when it is not. Do not obtain medications in a timely fashion - a wait of two weeks is not acceptable and they still had not ordered it. I am not on medicare - I pay for my drugs. I refuse to be lied to. Waldgreen's now has my business. I spoke with corporate who confirmed it is CVS policy to fill generics unless otherwise specified - not NJ LAW

I have to complain. I went into cvs and purchased 75.00 worth of different products. I went to use my 5.00 cvs card saving only to be told the card I have is not in my name and what struck me weird is that the person watched me purchase the items to get the 5.00....the whole time this person huffed and puffed the whole time instead of just fixing the problem... so i told her to forget it i will contact cvs on the phone...

at that point her attitude changed...but mine didnt. I know 5.00 may not seem like alot but it was her attitude that really got me....anyway this is not the first time ive had issues there so walgreens now has 100% of my business....but on the upside why i gave one star....i did contact the 1800 number and they were great....I think who ever trains the 800 people should train the staff that are working with the public face to face

at the walgreens right across the street Ive always been treated with respect everytime i have been in there so cvs keep the 5.00 .... i will spend my 200.00 a month across the street

I have been getting my prescriptions here for a long time. They are open 24hrs which is great. They are not always so great about refilling rx's. I have had a couple time that the dr office said that they called or even I had called and when we got there the rx's were not ready.

PROS: open 24 hrs
CONS: Not that great of service
