4 Stars: Flamingo Hotel & Casino is on top with renovations. (by Deborah B.)

The flamingo hotels newest renovations are outstanding, as long as you love the color pink. The cafe inside of where the flamingos are has great crepes for morning along with some other tasty treats. The staff is friendly and always offer asmile.

5 Stars: Flamingo Hotel & Casino is Oldest Hotel! (by Michael T.)

I give this casino a five star just for the length of time it's been in business. After all Bugsy Siegel started this casino with a dream that's reached over $75 billion dollars in revenues since it initially opened. The flamingos are cool to see and the atmosphere is definitely old school.

2 Stars: Greatly Disappointed (by Ro P.)

We spent 3 nights at this hotel during our stay for a conference in Las Vegas.
The room was adequate...but we expected much more for the amount of money we paid.
The pool is always crowded - to a point where it's unpleasant. It's a beautiful pool, however, they close it frequently to cater to private parties - as early as 5PM.
During our last night, the hotel decided to have a party for, what the security department said was 10,000 people in the courtyard, which about 50% of the rooms face. It started at 8PM and continued until at least 1PM. They had the sound system blaring and it was unbearable. They are more interested in making money off of private parties than keeping their customers happy. In order to have 10,000 people - you need a VENUE - not a POOL outside of everyone's windows.
However, upon our complaint (since we had an early flight to catch we had to sleep!) they did find us a new room quickly. They didn't offer to move all of our stuff for us, but they did bring up the key. The room we were moved to was almost worth the $230 a night they charged. Almost.
So, if you're planning a stay on the strip, I have two pieces of advice:
1. Book EARLY so you're not stuck, and
2. Do NOT stay at the Flamingo.
The Hilton Company should be ashamed!
P.S. Our last stay was at the Luxor which was great...check it out!

4 Stars: Nice hotel on the strip (by Alison N.)

My first time in Vegas, my husband and I stayed on the Flamingo Hotel on Las Vegas Strip. The hotel is huge! The best thing about this hotel is that it is on the middle of the strip so that means that you never have to take a cab, You can walk to all hotels, The Flamingo was at least $100 cheaper than all the other hotels on the strip per night and the rooms were very nice. One negative, when I booked this hotel, it was a Hilton hotel and I was looking forward to getting my Hilton points. By the time we stayed at the hotel, it was no longer a Hilton hotel so we did not get any points for staying at it.

PROS: on the strip, close to everything, cheaper than other hotels on the strip
CONS: older hotel

4 Stars: Yay (by Niccholas M.)

The Flamingo isnt the best place to stay in Las Vegas. Maybe I am used to luxurious hotel rooms, but I thought our hotel room at the Flamingo was rather.plain. The TV didnt work very well and I didnt find the amount and quality of channels we had very impressive. The AC was very loud and annoying during the night.

4 Stars: Great Location on the Strip (by Jason E.)

Flamingo is located right in the middle of the Vegas action. It is a nicely kept casino that is very clean and maintained. The casino is very spacious and the floor plan is very open. You do not get the claustrophobic feeling like in some casinos where you are packed in. Take a walk outside around the nature area and see their flamingos. They are very beautiful to look at. The flamingo is a nice place to hang out.

4 Stars: Loyal Flamingo Customer (by Samantha P.)

I have stayed at the Flamingo 5 times now. It is my Vegas hotel of choice. The price is right, the rooms are great, and the location could not be better. It is directly across from Caesar's, and easily walkable to the Bellagio, Harrah's, and Bally's. Plus, with the new tram right in the hotel, you can easily get anywhere on the Strip. Oh, and their pool is great - this hotel is awesome!

PROS: Reasonably priced, great location!
CONS:

2 Stars: changes in the decor and service (by Carmee W.)

I recently went to the Flamingo Hotel. I was not very satisfied with it for many reasons. The first being that I had booked 6 months in advance and was not able to get a room. They had a convention in town and I had gotten shut out because I hadn't put a credit card down to hold the room. I have been going there for years and never had to. Also the hotel is just not being kept up . The rooms and the hotel are in disrepair.

4 Stars: Nice place to stay (by Jen P.)

This is where we stayed on our trip to Las Vegas. It is very centrally located on the strip, which makes it very convenient. Also, the hotel itself is nice enough for the time you spend there. Most rooms have been redecorated and are very clean. They are not the high end rooms that you will find in some of the much newer and nicer hotels, though. The casino is nice-sized as well. The food in the restaurants is great, especially the buffet. The pool was too chilly to visit when we were there, but was beautiful, as were the gardens with the live flamingos in them. If you're looking for a reasonably-priced hotel that will put you in the middle of the strip and has some nice attractions to see, this is the place to go.

5 Stars: BEAUTIFUL PLACE WITH PINK FLAMINGOS (by BARBARA S.)

I love to go and see the beautiful flamingos. This is a pretty place and very spacious. The restuarants are pretty good too. Found the slots to be so so and there are so many to chose from. Definitely worth a visit.
