HICKLEBEES CHILDRENS BOOKS & TOYS

What else can be said about this wonderful book store? They gift wrap! We stop in almost every Saturday morning on the way to a party and ask the staff to pick out a special birthday gift. Also, they have lots of authors come to read and sign, lots of autographed books and Wiggle Time story telling. Check their web site. Get on the email list. There is a lot going on a Hicklebee's!

Hicklebees is a wonderful bookstore. It's small, compact and not so overwhelming like some of the other bookstores. The selection is great and the staff is knowledgeable.

The first time I visited Hicklebees, my daughter was in a stroller and I was really annoyed that I couldn't move around in this small, cramped book store. Now that my kids are older, I appreciate their mission. The staff is always available to give you recommendations. They have been very generous with supporting local schools, especially Graystone. I also appreciate the small selection of adult books.

This place is so kid friendly you have to love em. It's nice to see a mom and pop store be so successful. The kids loving going there to pick up books and everyone is always so friendly.

As independent bookstores are fewer and fewer, Hicklebee's stands out. They specialize in books for kids and have lots of great events. If you have a child that needs some encouragement to read, this is just the place to take them.

Hicklebees is a great independent bookstore dedicated to having an amazing selection of children's books available. The staff members really know what they are talking about and can always provide several great recommendations that surprise and delight. The store itself is so fun -- cozy, friendly, with many nooks where you can linger and browse through a new find, with or without the kids. Hicklebees itself has what the best children's books have always had...a little bit of magic, a way to take you to a land far, far away and the ability to inspire a llifelong love of reading.

Clinton stopped here a few years back. Got out and bought a book for Chelsea. It was quite the scene- limos drove down the street and to see the President get out with his secret service in my little town was really great!

This place is not just fun for kids, its actually fun for the adults who do the shopping. This place is great for kid presents for Christmas. Its really nice that it is privately owned (so the employees actually know what they are doing on a personal level) but there is still such a huge selection. They have all kinds of books and toys. Everything is really colorful and some of the stuff talks and plays music. If you need a present for a child, from my experience this place has never failed!

Hicklebees Childrens Books & Toys has a wonderful selection of books for children of all ages. You can find very good books which you usually don't find in other bookstores. The staff is very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. If you look for a gift they know their merchandise and can help you with recommendations. They carry also a nice selection of high quality toys. You will not be disappointed to go this this fun store.

It's a pleasant surprise to find a privately owned bookstore devoted only to children's books. They have every possible book imaginable. The store is very well organized and the staff are always happy to suggest a great book. If you need a gift for a child, this is the place to go. It's impossible to come out with only one book, you always find another one you just have to buy.

Most children's stores do not carry a good selection if any selection of books anymore, but this store goes above and beyond, offering a wonderful selection of children's books. if you're lloking for it, they propbably have it.
