Be prepared to spend a good 6-8 hours traversing through the various sections of this awesome museum. There is so much to see and explore. When I went, they had a special exhibit on Islamic History. The exhibit showcased artwork and artifacts from early periods in Islamic civilization.

There seems to be no end to the rooms and exhibits at the Museum of Natural History. There are so many things to see here you could spend the entire day and not be bored for one minute. There are lots of great places to eat nearby so if you need a break from the excitement, you won't have to travel far. It's very easily accessible by bus or subway. You won't be sorry you visited this museum.

This is hands down the best science museum I have ever been to. It's HUGE and the exhibits are simply fascinating. The dinosaur bone exhibits are the best, especially for children, but the countless other departments are also great. They also have an IMAX theater in the building, which is definitely worth checking out. I recommend this museum to people who love and hate science alike. This is a place everyone in New York should visit at least once.

Even the Subway stop near this place is cool. Hands down the best museum I've ever been to. As you could probably tell from the film "Relic" this place is huge and filled to the brim with scientific curios. And there aren't actually any monsters. You can kill days in this place, and they cosntantly rotate out the exhibits. Most of the stuff they have isn't even on display. It's great by yourself or entertaining out of town guests.
