This place is a treasure. One of the few places that I recommend to my Manhattan friends to come over and try out.

Sahadi is wonderful. There isn't a better place to get Middle Eastern ingredients and specialties. I've been coming here since I was a kid. I used to come with my parents from the Bronx out to Brooklyn, but now we all go from northern

Any foodies in the neighborhood knows this place is the best! Sometimes it gets very crowded (which would be almost all the time) and lines do get long...but it's all worth it! I love their cheese selection too (and olives are to die

When I fist came here I felt like a kid in a candy strore. This place is amazing. They have all sorts of specialty and fine foods. They have a wide assortment of cheeses and food from all around the world. The humus and other foods sold here are wonderful. They have beautiful gift baskets for all tastes and budgets. They also sell gift cards. This is one of my favorite place to go to. Everything is fresh and delicous. You can also visit the website at sahadis.com for more information. They usually have festivals and taste tests. There will be a fall cheese festival between september 30- october 1 from 10am-5pm. You can sample products and try new things.

Looking to make your own trail mix or having a party? Sahadi's is a great family owned business that sells nuts, grains, dried fruit, olives, coffee and cheese in bulk at great low prices. They also have a fabulous selection of international foods (asian, european, indian and more) and fresh baked bread in the afternoon. Visit during the week before 2pm. On Friday nights and all day Saturday you will wait for at least 20-30 minutes to be served in their bulk section (the bulk items are not self service - but the staff is friendly and quick).

There aren't enough superlatives to do justice to Sahadi's. Virtually everything in the store - from the grains and spices, gourmet cheeses, bulk containers of olives, nuts, and dried fruits, to their tantalizing prepared foods counter - is delicious and extremely affordable. Any visit must include the following essentials: creamy hummus, tart baba ghannouj, salty Bulgarian Feta, and French Provencal olives. Closed on Sundays, so it's packed on Saturdays. As soon as you walk in, take a number.

With a wonderful selection, helpful staff, and good prices, Sahadi is my new nuts, spices, sauces, and other stuff store. I'd been searching for whole fenugreek for a while, and here it was. Though they couldn't help me with kaffir lime

There is no place like this to find every variety of dried fruits, nuts, grains and spices. If you haven't cooked with Sahidi's real paprika you're in for pleasant surprise.
