EVP ALL LOCATIONS! what a joke this place is. The doctors are good i give them that BUT the office and schedulers are terrible...rude rude rude..none of them speak professionally. I cannot believe this company has 6 locations and all of them are the same. They must train their employees to speak and treat their patients like crap. I will never take my child back and will not recommend them either. This company needs to shape up their office staff or else down they will go. My new pediatrician office made a comment on how they have heard EVP was no good and they have gotten alot of their patients due to the poor quality of treatment from the office staff. Their all young girls who probably make minimum wage and have no real formal college education.

I will never go back to East Valley Peds again! I wish I could give 0 stars.
I am not happy with the doctors!
Today I called to make an appt for my twins and I was told I cant bring them in together, on the same day.
excuse me? Its hard enough having twins but not being able to make appts together for them is just absurd!!
I have already found a new Dr. Will never go back.
At my child's last appt I felt verbally attacked by Joseph Werther!
Just bc I havent vaccinated my twins yet!! (they were premie and I want to wait until they are bigger)
He started giving me a history lesson on vaccines saying a lot of kids die! thats all he kept saying....

We had been seeing Dr. Hayden for my son's low weight issues. I had asked to speak with Dr. Hayden before our appt. so make clear to him my concerns and ask that he back me up in front of my child. Dr. Hayden belittled me and then right in front of my son, proceeded to say he didn't think there was a weight issue at all. My child is 8 1/2 yrs. old and just barely 50 pounds. He made me feel like my "perceptions" of what my child should eat were way off, and made me feel like I was some brand new, worrisome mother. I have a grown dtr. who is almost 30 and years of parenting experience. Dr. Hayden barely spoke to my son at all in the exam room and treated the whole appt. as if he was "put-out" and bothered to be doing his job. Needless to say, we have left this office (we were seen at the Higley office) and moved on to another Dr. I wrote the Office Manager a letter explaining my reasons for leaving and how I felt about Dr. Hayden's attitude.... and guess what?? Have never even heard a word of acknowledgment back! Surprise.. not. He needs to find another line of work.... Pediatricians should at the very least, care about kids.

Dr. Amin is amazing. She listens to my concerns and gives me the best advice for me and my daughters. They have moved to Higley and Southern and I still get the amazing service! I recommend them to any one and my friends love her as well!

I have two children and they both love Dr. Amin. She is fabulous with them. My youngest (now 5) has been going to her since birth and she always makes her feel very comfortable and answers all of my questions. I especially enjoy the fast service. We have never had to wait for very long to see the doctor.

I have 4 kids all of them have seen Dr Amin from birth, my oldest is 10, I have never had any problems with any of the Doctors if I wasnt able to be seen by Dr Amin. I couldnt be happier. Doctors see lots of kids daily and not the same ones so I dont take offense if they dont remember my child and their complete history. If I had several hundred kids I only saw few and far between I might have a hard time rmemebering every little thing about them also. Its the care they recieve that matters most.

I first went to Dr Allen when I wasn't satisfied at my family doctor telling me I had to force my then 2 year old to talk. We were concerned about him not talking. At the first meeting with Dr Allen in Jan 06, she was great about getting my son in to see a developmental pediatrician, I was now looking at autism because of other issues with him, when I stated my concern about autism she never asked me any questions about him but quickly referred him to the dev ped. I also asked about what she thought of the immunizations and autism, she abruptly stated that they DO NOT lead to autism. I was put off with her tone but of course looked forward to the appointment with the dev. ped in Scottsdale. My son was diagnosed with severe autism on Feb. 22 of 2006 by noon of that day. When I went back a time later to Dr Allen, for another issue with my child, she never really inquired as to my concerns or how my child was doing. At that appointment I had to tell her about his autism after he was fussing about her checking his ears. She was speaking to him in a way I new he wasn't understanding. I also saw a Dr Amin at one time for my other child, When Amin came in, my son started crying and hiding from her even as she checked my daughter. He wasn't understanding the situation (common with autism) and was scared. She looked at me and asked "what's wrong with him?"

I bring all three of my kids to see Dr. Allen. She has been supportive of my choice to delay/selective vax my kids. The few times I've needed to bring my kids in for an illness - it has always been a breeze. I've also only had to wait more than 10 minutes for an appt. once. I wish she and her staff were more encouraging/supportive of breastfeeding mamas - by providing some good referral info (not just bfing stores) & not have formula sponsored give-aways/signs....but she is very sweet and non-threatening to shy little ones.

We've decided after 18 months of EV Pediatrics that we need to find another office. Dr. Allen was great - getting in to see her was the problem. I've never experienced a more disorganized or unprofessional staff at a Doctor's office. My infant son's scheduled appointments were great, but we also had two emergencies with him and in neither instance did I feel the office staff tried to work with me to get him seen, so both times I had to go to the Urgent Care. After two or three poor interactions with the staff our patience was wearning thin, but today was the last straw. We showed up on time for the appointment we set three months ago at the Baywood office and we find a hand-written note on the door that says the office has moved... Would you not think that regular patients, or patients that have an appointment would be notified by a postcard or phone call that the location has moved??? As a professional courtesy I would think that would have been a smart thing to do. Instead we get over to the new location 15 minutes late, sign in, and sit - and we sit - and we sit (in a waiting room with a filthy tile floor and construction still being done in the examination areas), until finally we're finally called to the desk only to be asked what we are there for because they don't have us down for an appointment.... UNBELIEVABLE! I hope Dr. Allen can get her staff to get their stuff together. We're sad to have to leave, but we are way over having to deal with incompetence.

When my eldest daughter was born, we let the hospital pick a doctor, as we weren't able to pick one before the birth. We ended up with a different pediatrician to start with, and his office was crowded, his staff barely spoke English, and it was almost impossible to get an emergency appointment. So we switched. And we've been VERY happy. Dr. Allen (formerly DeWolf) is magnificent. She is the pediatrician for both my girls and I would never swtich by choice. There have--rarely--been times when we've had to use one of the other doctors at the practice, and they were just as wondweful. The desk staff is great, and there is a sick-room for children with potentially contagious illnesses to wait apart from the children ther efor well-visits. They recently redid their waiting room to help the children pass the time waiting for their appointments. (Not to say that there is a long wait time. Rather, they are very prompt at getting us in. SOmetimes we just end up there a little early.)

PROS: Fantastic doctors and staff
CONS: Sick kids have to go through the healthy kid waiting room to get to theirs

From my sons birth we have seen Michelle DeWolfe. She has taken excellent care of my son. She has always listened to all my concerns. When we need refurals to specialists she gets right on it. I am very satified with her.
