I love this stadium. The Astros play here and it's great in the summer with the roof. One of the neatest baseball parks in America.

I went to a game here in August 2007 and I had a blast. You see baseball is not my sport because I think it is too slow pace. But see them in person, even in the nose bleeds was very exciting. It would be nice if we win the pennant though.

We've sat everywhere from field boxes to rafter boxes, and we've always had a good time. But long gone are the days when a working class man can take his family to the game for a reasonable cost. These days if you want that same experience you're going to have to have a bankroll. Seats are squished in the upper decks, but there's a good view from everywhere - in fact you get a great view out of the park at the city when you sit higher up. The service at vending as in most parks is sporadic or at worst they'll run out of food altogther in the 6th inning... particularly in the upper decks.

This stadium opened in 2000 with architecture that the game of baseball had not experienced since 1964 - a Major League team in Houston playing on natural grass outdoors. Bayou City's hardball faithful fans enjoy Minute Maid Park's 250-foot high, retractable roof. The new ballpark is overwhelming.
This stadium is a jewel in the crown of the majestic downtown Houston skyline. Minute Maid Park has become home for the Houston Astros. The retractable roof brought open-air baseball to Houston for the first time. The ballpark is located one block west of U.S. 59.
