I love everything about this store except the deli dept. I hate it when I need something from this dept. the personal working there are so bad about everything and you would think for the prices they could hire a better quality of people to work there. the rest of the store and personal are great and very helpful.

Wide variety, good prices, friendly service, however the Deli dept needs work. You ask for thin meat, & workers give you attitude. At 8.99 a pound they should have a better attitude and take more pride and give it to you the way you like it.

Market Street is a great store to shop in. They offer many choices, gourmet food as well as regular, and their deli, bakery, and meat departments are spectacular. The fruit and vegetable selection, as well as the prices, are marvelous.
    Thanks Market Street

I love this place. We live in Rendon south of Fort Worth and will travel all the way up to Colleyville for the treat of shopping there. We consider it especially gourmet type store. We buy the cheeses baked goods. We love to eat at the deli. The salads are fantastic. It is pretty expensive but we think well worth it. Very little rift raft like you have to wade through at WalMart. The people who work there are friendly. Mostly local kids at the checkouts. The customers seem happy and healthy. One thing we noticed about the shoppers is that although this store offers awesome gourmet food the customers were90% skinny while WalMarts customers are typically fat.Just an observation.

I don't think that the customers are snobbish. And trust me, I was a sacker here for a year and I had a conversation with 99.5 % of the customers I "carried out" their things for. There used to be a larger crowd of over-the-top "snobs" there, but that number was greatly reduced when Central Market opened up, which is SO "upscale" they'll try to sell you a brownie when you ask for fudge. True story.

Market Street is a nice grocery store with both gourmet and normal food. The people are very nice. In my year of working there I only had one bad experience with a manager, and maybe two not-so-fun experiences with a customer a week, which is pretty good if you ask me.

I quit working there last May because it's horrible being a sacker working in the summer heat, not because of the customers or the management.

And I always helped the little old ladies. ;)

I love the store's variety and attentive service, however the customers are elitist snobs. I am not saying this as someone on uneven monetary footing. I am saying this as a human being that lives 2 miles away from Market Street but would rather drive to Wal-Mart just to escape the constant crowds of self absorbed, mean spirited, rude, obnoxious, cellphone addicted "me-monkeys". I have witnessed the elderly and handicapped treated as a roadblock and inconveinence by these jerks. Why not just get the item on the top shelf for them than say something tacky as you reach in front of them to grab your $18 bag of coffee. The grocery store is not a place to see and be seen. It is not a place to hold an impromptu wine tasting with your trendy soccer parent friends in the middle of the entrance. It is a place to buy groceries, that is all. I am sick of indulging whiny, unattentive snobs who cannot get off the Blackberry long enough to realize they are next in line at the deli counter. I am equally tired of dodging the ill-behaved, not even minimally supervised little monsters that they often let drive the shopping cart. If you are an adult and think that letting a child under the age of 12 steer your shopping cart is a good idea, you need to think again. I also notice customers backing into each other, disregarding stop signs/right of way, and of course yammering away on the cells while doing 45 looking for a place to park the SUV. These same folks obviously havent mastered the rules of conduct for the road, why should I be surprised that they cannot complete a simple soda run without incident? There was a time in this country when manners were taught and stressed to those we consider to be "upscale". If anything, those same people are now the ones in the most dire need of a lesson in courtesy. Market Street's quality and selection are superior to any other grocery outlet in my area. Their staff are friendly and helpful. My problem is not the money I would have to spend to shop there. I simply cannot afford the patience.

I love this upscale grocery store. It offers everything you need. Their made fresh Ceasar salads are to die for. They have a great pizza meal deal - like 2 pieces and a coke for 2.99. They will custom make all these dinners fresh for you in the Deli area, or you can choose from many wonderful cuts of meat and fresh fish in the Meat Dept. Their pharmacy staff is nice and they have a great selection of natural type medicines, shampoos, lotions etc...

Market Street is a grocery store that I go to when I am looking for those hard to find ingredients. It's also a great place to go to find new products to try. We love going there and browsing the isles for something new and interesting to try. We usually make a day out of it and have lunch in their deli which is great. They have a wonderful seafood and meat section as well as produce and more. Overall great store!

This is a store I go to to make me feel pampered. They have a wonderful variety and the employees are friendly and helpful. It's always clean and easy to maneuver through the wide aisles except it gets crowded sometimes in the deli area. But it's nice to get a cup of coffee and treat to sit outside and relax before shopping for food items with an exotic flair and an excellent assortment of wines.

When I have to go grocery shopping, this is by far the best grocery store to go to. Everything is very fresh and reasonable priced. It is nice to not have to take my groceries out when my 2 yr old son is with me!!
