A great date spot!

This is one of my favorite places to go out with my husband for our date nights. Its not expensive but you feel like you are really having a treat. The wait staff is very attentive and strive to make your visit great! I recommend the butter chicken. It is so good you will be coming back for more.

Delicious food, less than knowlegable staff

For delicious Indian food, Saffron's cannot be beat. Their lunch special is extraordinary and their dinner specials are divine. The knowledge of their staff is less than outstanding though. My son cannot have nuts and they could not answer questions about what was in their food - bringing me a dessert for him with nuts in it that could have sent us to the ER had the chef not come out and said something.

That said, if you don't have any food restrictions, you won't find better Indian food in Greensboro!

That sums it up. I never had Indian before going here. I have been to the lunch buffet many times now. I am addicted. The food is amazing and the prices are affordable. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and the staff is friendly.

During the day they have a popular lunch buffet, if you aren't used to indian food this is a great time to come and experiment with their different flavors! From my experience with indian food they shy away from being "hot" and focus more on flavors. The sauces are so creamy and yummy!

As a vegetarian myself I really appreciate their Vegetable Thali on their dinner menu (there is a meat version as well) where for around $15 my husband and I can have a meal for two, complete with a simple appetizer, and finishing with a light dessert.

Try the their Lassi, which is similar to a frozen yogurt drink with your choice of flavors, yum!
