I left my dog for a trial day (temper test). She did fine. The staff were not incredibly friendly. When I dropped my dog off, the girl at the front desk barely said anything when she took my dog back. Some info about the facility would have been nice. Then when I picked my dog up another girl was at the desk. She just said "your dog did good, that will be $20". And that was that. I didn't feel like they cared too much about my dog or if I ever brought her back. I think I will search for another facility with a more caring staff.

Had to file suit in DeKalb county court today because Paws Playhouse is refusing liability after admittedly tearing off both dew claws from my Westie's front legs during grooming. Both quicks became infected and he required surgery to remove the claws entirely. I contacted Paws Playhouse and was told they "did everything they could" but were refusing to admit liability though they acknowledged it occurred while in their care. Do not bring your pet to this facility unless you're willing to sue Paws Playhouse. My one dealing with them was a disaster and I'm still trying to recoup the money out of pocket to get my little guy fixed up after they ripped off both claws.

Business Response:

Please Judge for Yourself As a matter of policy we will not discuss the particulars of this post but please understand we did everything in our power to protect the dog and our groomer. If we believed we were at fault we would cover 100% of any medical fees however that is not the case in this incident. We truly believe we are innocent of any wrong doing and we would expect a judge to agree. We welcome anyone to stay and watch their dog get groomed and see first hand the care we give.
