Publix Super Market

this store is not "old style". It is a brand new store just opened April 2004 It IS in a very desireable location, in the heart of Maitland. There is a mini strip mall in front of them,, with a starbucks, quiznos, nail salon, and chinese food. Next door they are building a new set of shops and condominiums. Every time I go in the store, there are always smiling faces... lots of people ask me if they can help find anything, and when i do, they bring me to it. Deli can be a bit slow @ lunchtime, but it's worth the wait. Bakery is always wonderful. All the departments do a great job, and if I ever want something they don't have, they always offer to get it in for me. The store is always clean and bright. they even have a whole store "sampling party" on mondays and thursdays. I'm not sure what the experience of the other shopper was, but as a regular 3-4 time a week shopper, I can say that I always have a good experience.

If you were picking up a few items, this Publix would do, but it is an older syle, smaller store. The store was not the cleanest I have seen and the customer care was lacking. The staff was not friendly, and this store is in a less than desireable area. I would not shop here again unless I was in a pinch>
