My grandmother used to shop at the Country Merchantile when it really was the Merchantile! The new owners of this wonderful craft shop have taken advantage of the shops history to create a place where primitive crafts can be displayed in the best possible way. The two ladies that own the shop were born to have this kind of business. They're perfect! Each item in the store has been carefully and personally chosen by them. You owe it to yourself to visit the Country Mecantile at least once.

PROS: Wonderful Primitive Arts & Crafts

If you enjoy the primative decor that's the current rage, you'll love the Country Mercantile. They have a huge selection of primative housewares, gifts and even a large assortment of fabrics for the do-it-yourselfer. The owners are the nicest ladies you'd ever hope to meet. It's easy to see that they really love what their doing. Prices are a little below what others are charging. Even with rising gas prices, it's worth the trip.

PROS: Great selection, helpful staff
CONS: None

The Country Mercantile is a country girls dream! Located in an old General Store, the setting couldn't be better for rustic/primative decorative items or for all your quilting needs. They even have hard to find fabric collections. The shopkeepers are warm and friendly and go out of their way to make sure you're satisfied.

PROS: Country Perfection!
CONS: None
