This place is nasty!

by Nkia W.

This place is so nasty!! I would never recommend anyone there. I had to order 2 drinks and they both had flies in them. On top of that the waiter had the nerve to ask did we want to order dessert minus the flies..I would never eat there again!

Great Service and Great Food

by Emerald M. | insider Insider | Rank: 17,914

This is a great place to go and just relax. All the bartenders are friendly and carry on great conversations. I have been going here for about five years now and this is one of my number one choices to go to for a drink.

Food was decent

by Sara K.

We went here to watch a game and have some food with friends. It was busy and loud, but the atmosphere was that of a sports bar. The food was very decent and the portions were large. I'd go again, but my husband was not too excited about it.

I heard all the hype about this place being awesome. We went there & were highly disappointed. Food was not even average. We will not return, waste of money.

Good food

by Andrea B. | insider_guru Insider Guru | Rank: 219

The food at Buffalo Brothers is pretty good. It's kind of like your average chain restaurant, but with more variety. I enjoyed their toasted ravioli appetizer and the large party I was with was thrilled to be seated in their back room area w. a huge TV to catch the hockey game!

Great Place for Game Night!

by katharine323

A group of friends and I visited Buffalo Brothers on a big game night. Very busy, yet the service was quick and friendly! The food was tasty, but the wings are no match for independent and authentic wing joints with northern influence. I admit, I'm partial, having grown up, up north! It was good, nonetheless. Lots and lots of TVs, so you can always see and hear the game...and not just one or two sporting events, you have a choice of many! The restaurant was clean, the service was fine, they had a great menu selection, and the food was super. My only complaints are that the place was heavy with cigarette smoke (I guess it's expected in a sports bar), and the restaurant is not located in the best part of town, BUT it is very accessible to/from the beltline.

Pros: Quick service, Great menu selection

Cons: Overwhelming cigarette smoke, Location

BBs from Buffalo NY??

by Bill570

I heard these guys talking about there franchise in Brier Creek. Each person was from South Carolina. Maybe they bought a franchise. From one visit I can tell they haven't every had really good NY Pizza or wings and I'm not even from NY.... Just travel to upstate NY a lot and tasted really good homemade food with fresh ingredients.

Pros: Atmosphere

Cons: Food

Good food, good service, a fun time

by ryanfaulkner

I'm a wing snob. These are the best I've had in the Triangle. Fried mozzarella was awesome. Its a great place to have a bar experience, very friendly & attentive service, & fair prices. Its worth the drive up or down Capital Blvd, trust me.

Pros: Excellent wings

Great Place in General. Has that CHEERS atmoshpere

by paulsteinman

Although I have been in Raleigh longer than I care to mention, up until 2 months ago, I have never been here before. I was in the area to get my son a Playstation from a nearby shop and decided to pop in while waiting. We had wonderful food and great service. The wings are great (have not had the Pizza yet) and you MUST try the Cheesy Garlic Bread with dipping sauce - YUM! I have been stopping in when I get a chance ever since then and good food, service and fun every time.

Nicole and Jen.......YOU BOTH ROCK !!!

Disappointed!

by phildo321

For quite sometime I have thought to try Buffalo Bros. but HATE going down Capital Blvd. So today I sucked it up and decided not to let an awful street to drive on stop me from a craving I had for "Authentic Buffalo Style Pizza".
Look I grew up in Buffalo and have distant relatives operate the busiest pizzeria in Buffalo, La Nova. Even though La Nova's is my favorite, the fact is there are many places to go to get an excellent slice of pizza in Buffalo. So upon reading the info on Buffalo Brother's website I was sold & figured it wouldn't be as good as La Nova's but like I said many places in Buffalo have great pizza. These guys at Buffalo Brothers say that they are from Buffalo and wanted to bring down the best food Buffalo has to offer including wings, pizza, Beef on Weck, etc, so I figured I had a good chance to satisfy my craving. I ordered two large pizza's to go and I hate to say it but was very disappointed. First of all this "Large Pizza" would be called medium back home. I thought it was small. But once I tasted it, I was glad it was. Don't get me wrong it wasn't bad tasting, but it wasn't even close to being as good as what you can get from ANY Buffalo Pizzeria. Just like building a house, you need to have a sound foundation to have a quality house, pizza needs to have good crust . The crust did not look hand made, if it was I'd be shocked. It honestly looked and tasted like grocery store crust. I also thought they were skimpy on the sauce and cheese. The sauce wasn't horrible but, even if it was good, when you put good sauce on poor quality crust, it doesn't matter. Another giveaway that the crust wasn't hand made is hand made crust has a rolled edge and is not flat. Also it didn't taste like it was freshly made, it tasted like it was heated up, just a cheese pizza with toppings added to order.
I will give them one more try for the beef on weck and wings because I being from Buffalo, I really want to like them, but not good so far.

Great time

by njodogg

There pizza was amazing. I had the buffalo chicken pizza and it was out of this world. The group I was with got some wings and some ribs. I didnt try the ribs but the wings were awesome. Cooked perfect and the sauce was great. They had reasonable beer prices. I think it was like $2 or $2.5 something like that. The wait staff was friendly and quick. I have been back a few times since my buddies were here from NY and have had nothing but the same enjoyable time. I would suggest giving these guys a try. I live in cary and frequent the express location in downtown cary.

Pros: Great food and beer prices, tons of TV's and lots of different games on

Cons: its on capital blvd- kinda of a drive for me

The pizza and wings are great but you have to try the ribs

by crudom

The name says it all!! My family loves to eat out and its hard to find an affordable restaurant to take the kids to. Everything here is great especially the pizza, wings, and ribs. We always have good service and the food is pretty quick to the table so the kids like that. Its also a great place to go to catch the game and a beer with friends.

Pros: the service and quality of food

Cons: busy for big events

Poor ownership/customer service

by toddruss

The first few times I went I was pleased with the food and satisfied with the atmosphere. I even bought some coupons for future visits. Then I went on a Sunday to watch a football game. With all the TVs they had, they couldn't put even one on the channel with the game I wanted to see. I was told that management had set the channels and they were not allowed to change the channels. She even went and checked with the manager, but no luck. Then on the next visit they would not allow me to use the coupons to get the menu items that I wanted! The owner just wants to take in every penny he can without any regard to the customer. If you go, it's only a matter of time before you'll be sorry!! With all the options in Raleigh, avoid this place at all costs!

Simply Awful

by slday

This was one of the worst experiences ever. We took forever to get served. Our drinks came 20 minutes after we ordered them and then the waiter came back and said our order was misplaced and had to take everything again. Then, the appetizers came 5 minutes before our meals so our meals were sent back. When they finally came, they were cold and soggy. The worst food I've ever eaten and we eat all over, in all cities. The drinks were very overpriced as well. Stay clear.

Nothing special, below average atmosphere

by barcry

Don't waste your time on this restaurant, unless you enjoy pretending you are sitting in a cold Buffalo sports pub. As presented in the previous reviews, this place is ok if you are searching for an area to watch a NY based sports team. Bills, Yankees, Sabres, and Orangemen take top priority over all televised sporting events in this restaurant because these are the owners/managers favorite teams. Ignore their publication and radio advertisments presenting themselves as a great area to watch Canes hockey, Panthers football, or ACC sports.

Pizza is good, but wings and sandwiches are below average. Nice plasma TV's, but poor distorted sound system.

Pros: Pizza (carryout only), Clean restrooms

Cons: Very Smoky

A touch of the North in the South

by cmpowers

We were visiting my daughter in North Raleigh during the NCAA tournament. We needed to see the Syracuse Orange play, so we looked online for a sports bar. My daughter suggested maybe trying Buffalo Brothers. We read the online reviews and knew we had to try them. Great place! Great wings! Great Hospitality! Love the decor! Anyone visiting NC from NYS has to try this place.

Pros: Great wings, Friendly staff, TVs for sports

Its tough on us natives sometimes to have to share our homeland with transplants, but when you can cook like this and provide quality service, you're welcome any time. Thanks for bringing a well needed restaurant to Capital Blvd.

Pros: Good atmosphere, Great food, Great Service

Best Wings and Pizza

by cb37015

Buffalo Brothers has by far the best pizza and wings in the Raleigh and Chapel Hill area. We have enjoyed eating there on several occasions. In my opinion, after eating wings at the Anchor Bar which is where Buffalo wings originated, Buffalo Brothers is much better! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Please open a Buffalo Brothers closer to Chapel Hill!

Pros: Great food, Large menu selection, Good atmosphere

Pizza Rocks

by aleeya

Upon moving to Raleigh, this restaraunt just happened to be next to the hotel I was staying at. New to the place, I searched up and down for a pizza place to dine in at. Finally, I just happen to see this place. The pizza there was so great! I have been back many times since, and no other pizza place is near as great as this one.

Pros: excellent food, friendly waitress

A tatse of the North!

by burnstock

This place really brings with it a taste from above the Mason-Dixon. The owners as well as the bar manager, whom some of my friends would say is the best in town, are all from New York. With the influx of Yankees to the area, it's nice to see a place with some of the hallmarks of the Empire State. Their Buffalo wings are, in my opinion, the best in the city. Their grilled barbucue are excellent as well. Delicious pizza and inexpensive beer make this place a must for anyone, not just New Yorkers. Plus they are doing much better than prior establishments at the same location. I'd expect Buffalo Brothers to become a common fixture for the Triangle for many years to come!

Pros: Wings, Bar Staff, Pizza

A great place to grab a beer and food with your friends. Very cool atmosphere and always something to watch on the TV's. I am a western New Yorker and so you can believe me when I say that the Chicken wings here are as good, if not better than the ones back home!!

This is the real deal

by gussy

My wife & I were more than satisfied with the food at this place. Very cool surroundings for the casual eat and drink routine. Being from Buffalo--The Chicken wings & pizza are the "Real Deal". Can't wait to bring friends to show them what "Buffalo Wings "are all about. Big screen TVs & friendly atmosphere were an added bonus for us.

Pros: easy parking, great value, owners are present

Cons: pretty crowded

Best Wings in the Dirrrty

by slimvaadi

By far the best wings in the South. I have looked long and hard for good chicken wings down here to recreate the taste of NY and it is impossible to find. They also have really good pizza and sandwiches. If you are from up North or have just never had the awesome wings from up North I suggest you check it out.

Pros: Wings, $2.00 Beers, Hot Bartenders

Best Wings in the South

It is awfully hard for a native New Yorker to find the wings that we are accustomed to in the North but these guys have brought the best thing about Buffalo to Raleigh. These wings are spot on. This restaurant is awesome.
