Manchuria Restaurant

I do eat in this restaurant quite often and have found the service to be excellent. Both management and staff are very courteous. The buffet was exceptional in both variety and taste. Keep up the great job.

The Manchuria Restaurant is, as of 07/03/08, under new ownership. This may comfort the one family that wrote 10 reviews below. The restaurant is a wonderful place, and the health department consistantly gives it high marks. You just cant please some of the people in this world, some times.

John, Kumar and I went there, the waitress took an instant liking to John, it is not surprizing he gets that all the time. She then seated us and put her hand on John's shoulder! After a while with them out of site John came back and our whole meal was comped! Thanks John for taking one for the team.

This place looked ok till we went inside.I mean right away one of the waitreses has looking at me up and down and then had the nerve to say "it looks like you can eat". Now I am a weight lifter and my diet is regular.So I continued to sit and eat brushing it off as a joke,but that was not the case they looked at what I was putting on my plate and told me if i didnt finish i had to pay more.Now im pissed and believe me the food is not good and know why it was empty. So when it was time for the bill to come she tried to charge me extra cause my little girl didnt finish her little plate and i flew off the handle and damn near went to jail. So they finally gave me the right bill and i gave that ugly woman a penny tip.

We were visiting from Salt Lake, UT and stopped at the Manchuria Restaurant to eat. The staff at this restaurant were extremely rude and seemed to go out of their way to find fault with their customers. The food looked disgusting and tasted worse! Some of it even tasted like it was moldy. One of the waitresses repeatedly chastised each of our children even though they had done nothing wrong at all and threatened to charge us 20% more on our bill because they said our kids were wasting food. At one point she even swore at one of the children at a table opposite ours because she had accidently dropped a piece of food on the floor (this was a little toddler!). We were appalled! At that point we decided to just pay the bill and leave, and go eat somewhere else. When we went to pay the bill, we were charged the wrong amount THREE TIMES! After they finally got it right, I asked for a comment card to let the managers know what a rotten experience we had had at their restaurant. We were told that no one there cared whether we liked it there or not. A HORRIBLE PLACE!

This place and the food is disgusting! I had the seafood, had intense headaches. Service is rude. My friend had the vegetable combo dish and found it disgusting.

What a terrible place. Seems unclean. Food poor. Unfreindly staff as well.

This place is to be avoided at all costs. Somebody is going to get real sick eating there!! Just wait and see!

I am an obese person. I walked into this place and the waitress said "Uh-Oh here comes another". I said "excuse me?" She said "someone find Shamu a comfy seat she gonna be here awhile". I started to cry and ran out. They are horrible people!

According to this article the buffet isn't really a buffet since the employees judge whether you've eaten too much or are too fat.

When me and my family went to Manchuria restaurant for dinner the other day,, the waitress said.. "I seen y'all over at Big Al's restaurant earlier today,,, y'all been eating too much!".. My wife was very sad about this , because she has a gland problem that makes her gain weight. WE WILL NEVER GO TO MANCHURIA AGAIN!!

We were mortified to see an employee wipe their nose and touch the buffet food. When the manager was informed they appeared to get angry and made very rude comments to us. UNBELIEVABLE! Avoid this place! Some of the food was almost raw!

The food was OK until we noticed the roach scurry up a wall and my husband saw mouse droppings at one end of the buffet on the floor. We paid up and got out as soon as possible.

We ate here and because our children did not finish enough of their food a 20 percent surcharge was added. When we called it ridiculous they made horrible comments about our parenting. When it almost got too heated with us getting ready to rip their heads off they threatened to call the police and made our children cry. We paid the inflated bill and left immediately. Don't give these people any of your business because they truly only care about making a buck. They are a bunch of mean sorry excuse for human beings.
