Funplex is a combinatin of activities like bowling, skating, lazer tag and a good size playland area, plus 6 of those mini-rides you see at the carnivals that set up in mall parking lots. The bowling lanes looked new, other areas could still use some updating. The only oppinion that matters was my 5 and 8 year old daughters'. They loved it. It's not Disneyland, but it made their day.

Renovations

I was at Funplex on 06/08/2008 and it was great. My family was in for my son graduation and we all went bowling. I had attend funplex before the renovations and it was terrible. I decided to try again and it was GREAT. For all of you that was disappointed you MUST go back.

Cock roaches

I brought my kids to the funplex tonight to see the simpsons movie and I feel like I should be arrested for child endangerment. There was cock roaches running around on the floor it was slippery and there was people talking on cell phones I thought I had slipped into hell some how. Although the price was cheap and It was in my neighborhood I will never as long as I live bring my kids to that hell hole.

Used to be great facility, now it is just plain ghetto

Funplex use to be an awesome place to drop your kids off and had a variety of activities to do from skating to golfing to even bowling...and who could forget, the great arcades, even a large ferris wheel -- all indoors in a building.

It use to be culturally diverse place with friendly people and kids.

I took a trip there with my little brother recently and was utterly shocked at how Funplex has become. It is filled with ghetto and mischievous kids who use profanity very loudly and it is not culturally diverse like it use to be. In fact, it felt a little out of place being the only different race in the skating rink.

After hearing profanity so much in what is suppose to be a kid's environment, I put my foot down and took off with my little brother and went to a movie.

I cannot recommend this place to any parent unless they want their kids to pick up some new words from hoodlums.

PROS: It's cheap and has a lot of activities to do
CONS: But it has become an unfriendly environment for kids
