The Woodlands Children's Museum was a great place for my 5 year old, but I was really disappointed that there weren no activities for younger children. My year old twins had to remain in the stroller, because there were no age appropiate activites for them. If you're looking for a fun place for the 3 and older set - check out this museum.

This museum is different than others I've been to; all of the exhibits are "open-air", or contained in one large room. I like it because my child can move between each exhibit and I can see her across the room without necessarily having to stay next to her every second but still be close enough to her. There is a really cool playhouse and a dress up area where the kids can try on different costumes and role play. It is reasonably priced although I think they should only charge for the kids and not the parents.
