WOW!!!! what a great experience I had the other day at Trendz.
My salon professional was CARTER. He made me feel like a million dollars when i walked in for the first time and then it was just great thereafter. First he had me change into a smock and WAS ON TIME!!! Then he gave me a 15 minute consultation explainig to me my bone structure and skin tone and how it affected the color and cut he was going to give me.

He was professional and even funny. He didnt take along time and explained the cost...the upkeep and the products I should use on my hair.
I have never had such a wonderful experience and ALL my friends love my new DO.

This place has it together and they are not uptight at all! Everyone in the salon treats you with the highest level of service. My stylist Amy is just great, she does a fantastic job on my highlights and cut EVERYTIME!! I have recommended her to all of my friends and family!

I must say the horrible review on Rafael shocks me b/c I have been going to him for almost 2 years now and this is not my experience at all! I also have recommended him to several friends and they will agree that he is professional, sanitary, and does an AWESOME job on our hair! Also- I must say Sonya is awesome at waxing too! She rocks.

I have been going to Trendz Salon for sometime and never have I had a bad experience..I was very pleased with the amount of attention I was getting for the price I was paying .They were very professional and gave me some very good advice on how to take care of my hair between appointment.She also gave me a sample of the product she used on my hair.As for me,after being in Austin for only six months I found a salon that really cares.I have recommended Trendz to people I work with and they loves Trendz.Oh! Make sure to ask for Kat or Trent.

I recently went to this salon for an expensive hair process (over $400), and my experience was absolutely appalling. Rafael, the stylist working on my hair, was nice but completely unsanitary, unorganized, and unprofessional. While I arrived on time for my appointment, I was kept waiting for an additional 10 minutes while he worked on a computer. When he finally began working on me, he left me sitting with my head in the hair-washing sink (very uncomfortable) for what was supposed to be 5 minutes, but ended up being 15 minutes while he chatted with someone else in the salon. When he finally started on the process, he had to keep going to the back room to look for items that he should have had ready at his station. His station was completely unorganized and dirty, with other people's hair still covering every tool and utensil he used on my hair. The Barbicide in his jar was more than halfway gone, which means that it was probably old and did not properly cover the few tools he put into it. He dropped every other item he touched onto the floor, and when he picked it up, instead of getting another clean item to use on my hair, he would just use the thing that he dropped on the floor. He also used a towel to wipe up spills on the floor (using his shoe to push the towel around), then picked up the towel and wiped his hands on it and put it on the cart, and continued to use it whenever he needed to wipe his hands (he did this with no less than 3 towels). While he was blowing out my hair, he went to answer the phone and simply lowered the hairdryer onto the floor instead of putting it on the cart. When he returned, he used the barrel of the same hairdryer to guide my hair as he continued to blow it out. He kept sniffling (sounded like a runny nose) and rubbing the back of his wrist across his nose. He also ran out of the product line he was supposed to be using on me, which means that I paid for product that wasn't actually used on me. I gave Rafael 1 star because I think that he is a nice person, but I would never go back to this salon.
