We used to go to a big chain pet store for grooming- never again. We have a Cairn Terrier and the guys(and gal) at Legacy Grooming take such good care of her. They do exactly what we ask, explain everything, and never "accidentally" overcharge like the big chains try to do. In fact, Zoe (our dog) gets excited the minute we pull into the parking lot. She can't wait to get in there. They are so personable they seem to really just love the animals, and the facility is very clean and open. Oh yeah, and the prices are some of the best you'll find in Plano!

I have a Persian cat. Legacy Grooming has been bathing and shaving him for years. They do an excellent job. He looks so cute when he is done, and he struts around like he is so proud. They cut his hair like a lion, leaving hair around his face and a ball on his tail. I highly recommend Legacy Grooming.

I adopted my big, furry, black dog from the Animal Shelter, and brought him to Legacy Grooming, since he badly needed some skilled care. He has regular appointments each month, and his coat, skin and nail quality and appearance have very much improved. He is treated very gently by his groomers, and he looks beautiful when I pick him up...I highly recommend Legacy Grooming in Plano, and I think he would, too!

This grooing salon makes appointments and is on time. They do a nice job working with my dog and helping her to relax. Very reasonably priced. Very clean inside and qualified employees.

Granted, there are mixed reviews - some might be the company, some might be the competition... who knows?
We took our Maltese here for her first haircut. The place was full with small dogs of all breeds - which tells me that they are liked. Our little puppy came out great, as did the others that I saw there. We dropped her off @ 730 - she was done around 1100.
Price was reasonable, and so what if the guy was short with me? How my baby is taken care of is more important.
Pros: great first cut, fast, pro service
Cons: owner a little rude to humans

Legacy Grooming is wonderful! I've taken our two dogs there for over a year and they always do a wonderful job. Both of our dogs have arthritis and they handle them very carefully. Our dogs always look and feel so good after their visit. The entire staff is very professional, courteous, caring, and personable. I highly recommend them, and they are very reasonably priced!

I have used this Groomer for over a year. My dogs have been well treated, groomed well and I can recommend them easily. The staff has always been very friendly, The salon is clean, the price is fair. There have been a few times that I've called at the last minute and they have always been willing to work me in within a day or two. My dogs are like my children, I have a Cocker Spaniel and a Brittany and both dogs have never come out looking anything but great.
Pros: convenient, easy to get to

Not only do they post fake reviews (see the 10/27/2008 review that's been posted everywhere online) but they provide the worst, ugliest, most unprofessional grooming we've ever seen, with rude staff and bad service all round. Keep away!
Pros: Nothing. Worst grooming ever!
Cons: Rude owner. Rude staff. Late completion. Incredibly bad dog grooming job.

This place is fantastic! They did a beautiful job on my dogs in a very timely manner. The price was just right and when I picked them up, they were so happy. All the employees are very nice and professional and they definately know what they are doing. I highly recommend them to everyone!

This was a dreadful experience. They kept my dog in a cage for 6 hours, after telling me that it would be 3 hours. When I queried this over the phone, the owner hung up on me and was incredibly rude.
When I finally was able to pick up the dog, they'd just cut ALL of its hair off. I asked that it be left long. She was a long haired dog.
The fur will grow back, I suppose, but it was just an awful experience. They didn't let the dog out to do its business, or anything, she was desperate to do her toilet when we got out.
When I asked the horrible owner "what have you done to my dog" he just demanded payment and refused to say sorry, which is all I asked for, while his 'assistant' stood and smirked at me.
Nasty nasty little man who clearly doesn't value his customers AT ALL.
A nightmarish day. He was so arrogant and nasty to me -- God only knows what those cruel people did to my dog while i wasn't there.
DO NOT USE THEM is my advice. I will never get my dog groomed again.
