Proximity Hotel

The Proximity is the newest hotel by the same people who did the O.Henry. It has all of the same fabulous features as the O.Henry, but with a hipper, more urban feel. It is a great hotel if you want to stay somewhere that feels edgy and fun, instead of the more old fashioned feel of the O.Henry (which I also love).

A wonderful hotel with a wonderful concept! We stayed at the Proximity last New Years Eve. The rooms are beautiful & very comfortable. The staff is incredibly friendly & helpful. And the "green-ness" of the hotel is a trend that really needs to be continued. It's a great place to stay while visiting Greensboro or just to get away for a night.

We stayed here for our night away from our young daughter. We wanted someplace fun and different even though we needed to be "in town". Proximity delivered! The rooms are clean and modern. The service was awesome. It was quiet and romantic. Ask for a tour of the "green" building aspects. They have done an amazing job.

Staying at the Proximity was a wonderful experience. The decor is amazing...when I walked in my first thought was "Very swanky and hip". You have to see the bathroom in the guest room to appreciate how cool it is. From the British style hotel taxis to the billowy white curtains surrounding the hotel entrance to the mood lighting in the lobby everything about this hotel is unique and elegant. The service was also outstanding. Great hotel!
