Last October, my husband and I were on the verge of divorce. We had separated twice within one year. The Lord led us to Cornerstone where we found a God fearing, God loving group of people. The pastor and his wife are real...they have given themselves and their family to God in a way that I have never witnessed before. The band plays wonderful music and we truly feel the presence of the Holy Spirit at Cornerstone. I feel like the band is so dedicated to God and is not there for show. Praise God for this church...it has been a blessing to me!

The singers sounded more like a Deep Purple cover band than a worship team. It was more like a concert designed to illicit applause from an audience than it was to lead people to worship the Lord. The pastor originally struck me as someone who still had one foot in the world and one in the church, but the longer he spoke I realized that he had both feet and one arm in, and was hanging onto heaven by his other hand. especially concerning that he stopped the sermon to show everyone a country western video that someone had e mailed him. If I wanted to stay in the world I wouldn't have gone to church. I could have stayed at home and watched t.v. It is definitely a watered down version of God's holy word. 2 hours of my life that I'll never get back and no more changed than when I started.

The church is not a mega church, (thank God) it seems to have about 100 to maybe 200 people. They have an awesome praise and worship band. They play a lot of modern Christian rock. The leader, Kevin (I think) is a good singer, also they have 2 electric guitar players that rock; I really liked the set they performed. Then the pastor came up, (Dustin) and prayed. He's young, but was very like able, his sermon was good and got a lot of response from the congregation. when his sermon was done, the worship team played another song and church was dismissed. They didnt have a Youth program that I saw. Just for small children. But I liked the service and the size of the church. My wife thought the service was too long 1 1/2 hrs. But I think we will go back and visit again.
